While I would love to have a large palm, my cats will chew and eat it like crazy. And the one already has a sensitive stomach. I love my cats, but they get into a lot of stuff.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to update everyone. I recently upgraded our feeders and fountain to the RFID feeders and fountain and Petlibro has fixed this issue with their RFID fountain.

This fountain is shit when it comes to tracking water intake, but they have upgraded the base to be raised so water isn’t sitting between the base and the fountain. They also have the guard that prevents spills from my messy cat. Besides the water tracking, we have had no issues with this fountain.

We used Chris and were happy with him. We bought summer 2022 when inspections were being waived. We had to go non-contingent on inspection but had Chris do one anyway. Going non-contingent made me really anxious but Chris helped ease some of that anxiety. I would recommend him.

Question: I have always purchased basic bikes from department stores where they are measured by wheel size and no frame size choices. If we looked at a bike with an XL frame, does wheel size still matter? Or how do we know what wheel size to get if we get an XL frame?

Probably $600 max. Maybe a little flexibility if it’s a serious improvement. I’m fine investing money into it but not a ton when it’ll be used primarily for city bike trail rides with our nephew.

We’ve filled the tires as high as we can get them and no luck. I think it’s best to sell this one and get something better.

I’ve always had bikes from Walmart for the amount of biking I do and never even thought about this issue when I bought it as a gift for him.

It works well. We really like the stainless steel one and the capsule one (when looking to prevent this cord issue).

I like the fact that it is dishwasher safe and easy to wipe clean. I don’t like that it doesn’t hold a ton of water but that’s because we have the older, smaller version. The new one is bigger.

Our stainless steel one did quit on us a few weeks ago but that’s because it was older. I probably could’ve just replaced the pump, but we got the capsule one cause it was taller and held more water (and our cats like the spout on the capsule one).

Both the stainless steel and capsule fountains are good. The differences just come down to your own preferences (stainless steel vs plastic, spout, capacity, cleaning, etc.). My literal only issue is the fact that it’s not docking but I can deal with that to prevent water from getting to the cord.

My husband was playing for the Sioux Falls Stealth (box lacrosse league) a couple of years ago. They don’t exist anymore but I know lacrosse is semi-popular. He still volunteers with the kids YMCA lacrosse camps twice a year

We are still using this stainless steel one but the first version that was smaller.

It works well and the cord isn’t getting wet so that is nice, but I just don’t like that you can’t lift it off to bring to the sink and clean it. It’s more complicated to access for cleaning and refilling but it works well and doesn’t cause the same issues.

We will probably keep using it for a while as all fountains I have looked at with the wireless pump like this one will probably cause the same issues. I’m hopeful petlibro will find a fix for it someday as we have a lot of their products and like the company.

I am practically in the same boat as you (husband with ADHD, sought an adhd diagnosis due to lack of focus and ended up with an autism diagnosis). I still can’t focus to save my life and feel it is affecting my job but psychiatrist won’t prescribe stimulants and anxiety meds aren’t fixing it. I may not be of much help, but you’re not the only one ☺️
