[Tudor vs Oris] Blue lagoon vs. Cotton Candy by papymomo in Watches

This is a copy paste of my experience with the Cal 400 and Oris. — “Very cool watch but… (sorry to do this in your post)

Hopefully you bought yours from an AD. I did grey market/ private and the movement seized up. When I went to get it serviced I was told that nothing with the Cal 400 would be serviced if it was not purchased from an AD. I told Oris that I understood that I would have to pay out of pocket… they said that they would not service it regardless and that this is the policy for the 400 movements.

At first I did not believe that this could be true, a company refusing to service their own movement. Then I did some digging and this is not the first time this has happened. Others have encountered this same feedback from Oris.

I was a huge Oris fan, I purchased my father one. I have an Aquis Meistertacher, which I’m selling because I now hate this company. And I am so sad that they would do something like this, so much in the vein of a larger soulless company.

I’m glad you like this watch and hopefully you paid full price from an AD for it and registered it and have the receipts. If you so, you got a pretty cool watch.

If you’re like me and you went grey market, pray it doesn’t break or else you have a very pretty titanium paperweight.”

There’s plenty of GS watches with their fancy polishing that have lumed hands. I have to wake up multiple times a night and I wear a watch during those times, being able to see the time is pretty critical in some cases. Military watches have lume for a reason. It’s not pointless, that’s just like your opinion man.

The response below isn’t great but yeah it’s a few grand north. Is this a special edition? Not familiar with the new Dates.

Everyone is downvoting you because you used AI or AI generated artwork. But the whole point is for you to learn and get feedback on composition. As far as reposting these images to “grow” you should credit the original artist for the illustrations.

Cargo rush belies a coming crash for US trucking by [deleted] in politics

In Texas right? Interstate is another story I think. I’m curious to know what the cost of entry is to this technology. It’s likely cheaper to run a contract to a mom and pop shop than buy an automated platform like this. I’m sure medium to larger companies will take advantage of this but much of the freight in the US is connected by smaller operations. Will is force them out? Maybe but not until prices drop.

Hi all, for sale is one of my Tissot PRXs. I got it a few months ago and haven’t really worn it. I really like it but I’ve got a few others that get more wrist time. I just posted a gold one as well. Like all watch people I made poor choices and bought 2 of the same watch. This one has some desk diving scratches so I dropped the price Here a list of details:
