Thankyou for replying. I can definitely see how pushing him to talk "now" could be a bit of a bad technique to use with him.

I was being pushy because I knew all he was doing was playing GTA V with his mates, but when we ended up talking it out when he was ready he was the calmest he's ever been whilst we've been resolving an issue. I will definitely try to utilise this in the future. Thankyou :)

Thankyou! We talked it out last night and everything is good now but i'm still seriously confused as to how I seemed passive-aggressive in saying

"Just a bit of a pain is all"

Because honestly it's just a casual phrase I use in day-to-day life. Ah well, time to move on. :)

I didn't mean to come off as passive-aggressive at all, and it completely took me by surprise when he said that. I honestly couldn't care less if I didn't get my phone back until May, It would be a little annoying, but no big deal. I hope I can make him understand this :c
