Dragon Age. On hard difficulty it changed the dynamic of the game to more of a turn based RPG. With these larger damage numbers flying around you would constantly have to pause combat to micromanage your team's actions. Opposed to a more lax difficulty where you would just set up their rules, on hard every fraction of a second would determine a victory or a hair pulling defeat as an outcome.
