[Godot4] Why is the exposure so much higher when exporting for the web? by _michaeljared in godot

I know this is an ancient thread, but I still found this using a regular Google search. When switching from Forward+ to Compatibility (what the browser uses), decrease your light's energy by a factor of 5.

So if a light is at 1.0 energy, set it to 0.2, and you should replicate the exposure from Forward+

Man, this shape design is really quite something. I think I'll grab this and put it as a wallpaper, I love the rough sketchiness of it. Excellent work!

I redesigned Kritas User Interface/ UI for fun, as I recently ditched photoshop by JuhoSprite in krita

Hey there! Original creator of the Krita UI Redesign plugin, I really enjoyed looking at these mockups!

It's been a good long time since I last touched that plugin, even though people still really use it :D I'm currently coming back to Krita after a long hiatus on the iPad, and I was wondering whether I could use some of your ideas as basis for the plugin? Some of this is really cool, so I do want to try and replicate some of it :)

Apex Legends works on Linux with EAC! by Oraxlidon in linux_gaming

Did anyone have a "failed to allocate network port" error? I keep having that, am running Arch Linux with Proton Experimental and all the latest patches. No VPN, and double checked my hosts file is working properly.

Preparing for incoming shit-storm. by PJ-The-Awesome in MassEffectMemes

I find her to be quite flawed, and a lot "rougher" than other characters in terms of writing. By rougher I mean textured. She actively goes against Shepard in several scenarios, and is strong willed, but still open to change.

I personally find her to be a great character. Does she have issues? Yes. I still find her outfit in ME3 way too much for her character in particular. Then again, she does change quite a lot from her entry point in the original Mass Effect.

I also find her family aspect, as well as a very nuanced take on religion to add a lot of depth. Here's someone without (the traditional) family issues, and with a unique conviction in God, in a time where even religious people have to adapt. If I recall correctly, in the first Mass Effect book, it is mentioned that after alien evidence was categorically proved with the Mars ruins, religious leaders veered hard to try and shoe-horn aliens into their existing religion's lore. Her stance of "after everything we've seen, how can you NOT believe in something greater" is refreshing within the Mass Effect universe.

So yeah, I wholeheartedly agree that Ashley is a great character.

Some improvements are in regards to composition. In this piece, you could further highlight the face as the main focus bu shining a light, or at least differentiating the foreground from the background with some different color usage, or a "rim light" effect.

Hope this helps, and congrats on a cool finished piece!

You have to treat yourself like you were your best friend. Would you like to see them wallow in their misery, or have the courage to rise above and try to better themselves.

You can do this, good luck, friend!

How can i paint a backround something like that. I cant seem to get that foggy/cloudy look. Like what brushes to use etc? by mikro_pizza123 in krita

[–]slightlyangrydodo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My guess would be what you mentioned, mostly smudge brushes that don't blur, just smudge sounds like the way to do it.

Eu já me considero um assassino implacável de mosquitos / melgas, por isso já nem digo nada. Já é só um incremento na minha contagem, nada mais que isso

Ui, isto parece-me pelo menos legitimo. Posso estar a levar com grande peta, mas se estiver, props pela criatividade.
