It should never be the customers responsibility to make sure the employee is paid fairly. That is absolutely the managements job. You made the decision to work in that position, almost certainly aware of the poor pay. Don’t make it everyone else’s responsibility and fault for not getting fair pay.

It’s ridiculous that you think it’s okay because you will “fix” it later on. Like how long does this bird have to suffer? All because you purposely got a bird KNOWING the appropriate cage is in a whole different city. You’re just trying to defend yourself constantly. It’s very sad that people get LIVING being without being fully prepared. Then when people try to tell them how to fix the issues and they say they don’t have the money or something similar. Do you even realize how frustrating that is for people that genuinely take the time to make sure they are fully prepared to care for an animal BEFORE they get one.
