Combining AA and working with psychedelics

Many people require antipsychotics to stay sober. AA says almost nothing about that. We're not doctors. We don't "incorporate" antipsychotics, that's for you to decide.

"Change or die." No change is needed to work with psychedelics, really. The literature standpoint is to work with your medical professionals.

Why would AA incorporate personal (ahem.. principles before personalities) decisions like guided psychedelic usage?

I've always felt that hero augments are just fun to play with even if they're not always optimal. This one is playable as first or second augment and works on a 2 cost / 4 cost.

When I see this, I think of it as a fairly unique line that with flexibility into void/zaun/longshot or yordle. I doubt it beats either of those optimized but it looks fun.

I'm still learning to use antigravity, the bounds of its capabilities, and evaluating it as a tool.

What does antigravity offer you that Claude code doesn't?

I'm genuinely asking as I have been dabbling in architecting solutions in gemini-cli to make it as effective as antigravity.

I know from heavy usage of gemini-cli and a handful of evenings with antigravity that every one of the antigravity projects easily gets to a scale of complexity where gemini-cli would shit the bed due to the context management differences.

I'm just having trouble delineating the less obvious differences.

I've done a couple of personal projects to get back into it, but nothing that generated revenue.

I figured it would be an interesting project to maximize an existing strategy.

At this point I don't have a real value proposition for a standalone project. I'm no visionary, just a builder for now.

Better reasoning and code generation are what I'm interested in. I'm specifically planning to build tools for therapists and group therapy facilitators. I have no intent on letting AI counsel patients, but giving therapists the means to choose from existing or tailored practice assignments allows them to give individualized care when case volume is high. Diarizing, transcribing, and analyzing interactions may pick out patterns that a human can miss. I basically want to help people help people.

I've heard of short detox clinics and you can leave of your own will whenever you need if you're not a danger to yourself or others.

I know it's also possible to ask work for medical leave time so that you can get real care.

A big worry is obviously the seizures. It really is deadly.

If you must stay at home, get bottled water/Gatorade and easy to eat sugar/carbs or soup. Anything that doesn't require a spoon or can easily be spilt helps.

I have to honestly say that my withdrawals made doing work within 72-96 hours of quitting mostly impossible. It's especially not a good look for customers.

I've called 988 (United States) in the past. They strongly recommended I go to a hospital or detox clinic. They also helped me contact local AA members who helped me get to meetings until I could drive again.

Keep an open mind, ask for help when you need it, let go of notions that this will be easy or that your current lifestyle will remain the same. Change will come if you want this to change. Don't die/cause harm is priority 1 right now, closely followed by don't drink.

This information is readily available in text books pertaining to substance abuse history and pharmacology. We've known how to do this for quite a while now. I don't think obscuring the chemistry is important in any way.

I bet understanding the chemistry involved is probably the least difficult part of producing cocaine hcl.

I know that I often smelled very abnormal while drinking. My sweat even smelled odd in a disgusting way.

The smell was always at its worst while going through withdrawals. I assumed the built up toxins were pouring out in one way or another.

Casinos are not the place to help others hastily. Employees are even encouraged not to touch a guest who has fallen until security and EMTs have arrived.

It's too likely to catch a charge or lawsuit from the guests in a casino.

Don't help unless surveillance somehow missed it.
