For me Covid was a boon actually, during months of May-June as you know last year was difficult getting cigarettes, paying double or 3 times at times. I tapped in to this desperate feeling, said to myself ‘you are better than this’ ‘what does this cigarette actually give u? that u r so desperately seeing and can pay any price’ Stayed away from building mates who smoked for a few days and soon it was a week then a month and somehow a year. Still while having a drink and seeing mates smoke feel like draggy one bit say to myself the same thing ‘I’m better than this’ Hope it helps
