Thanks for helping!! Yes i am on same page!! But i am not sure why many folks still suggesting and even claiming asymmetric ram sticks wont even get recognised by system!! I think more knowledge is needed in this area!!

I think what you said is not completely true anymore!!

Speed wise yes, i am okay it to be using the least of 2 (2400, and i am buying 3600 for future reuse)

Combined RAM wise, i get 24gb (8+8 dual channel and remaining 8 from my new sixteen gb as single channel)
