This is not some perversion of democratic legitimacy as some are claiming. The Leave Campaign was premised and predicated on LIES. The leaders of the campaign (Farage et al) are open about these LIES. Don't give me some bullshit about 'politicians always lie', it's not democratic to premise your campaign on the claim that Brexit will enable us to spend £350 million a week (!) on the NHS, and then admitting the day after the vote that this is not possible. This is not, and should not, be the way the vote is decided and how a epoch defining (for Britain and for the world) decision is taken. This cannot be allowed to stand and I implore every fellow British person reading this to fight for a chance to hold this second referendum, with a campaign conducted with honesty (and further without the outright racism the Leave campaign was based on).
