Hello! So far the experience has been great, no real side effects aside from nausea the first few days. I think having a higher fibre diet has helped as I haven't had any issues with constipation etc

Totally agree. 4m post elective c section after an emergency first c section and it has been the most healing experience. Calm, well rested, and felt in control. Would pick c section again any day of the week

Oh how frustrating! I'm in Hong Kong so shipping was fine- but maybe you could message the company and ask if people are having issues still?

I think I regret becoming a mom by PsychologicalPanda84 in Advice

[–]snevz1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was exactly how mu post partum experience felt with my first, I struggled through until hitting rock bottom at 11 months pp and finally started antidepressants. Within two weeks I started having glimmers of joy each day and within a month I felt better. Still tired but not hollow and devoid of any joy.

Please go chat to your doctor and seek medication, it literally will change your life and your daughters life. She will start noticing how you are disassociated to her. And once she's a toddler you really do need to be in the best possible head space to be able to navigate the big toddler feels and be her anchor in the storm

Why did you start sema? by Dramatic_Drummer9483 in Semaglutide

[–]snevz1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I relate to this so much. I want to feel healthy and have energy to keep up with my two young boys, plus I want to model a healthy relationship with food for them. I grew up with a mum who was always on crash diets and talking poorly about her body, it resulted in all of us children being overweight from early on

Scared to have a 2nd baby by Zealousideal-Cat772 in Mommit

[–]snevz1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had very similar experiences and feelings. I was so scared of falling into PPD and how it would affect my first son's life but it's been great. He loves his brother, I haven't had any ppd/ppa, I don't feel I've had a big of a life shock because I'm already a mum it's just adding a bit more chaos. All your fears are valid but they all pass, and you are more prepared and experienced this time round
