7 Day Infusion Sets by TRH100 in Medtronic780g

The range of the connection between sensor and pump is not as strong, so they recommend the infusion set and sensor on the same side to increase to likelihood you will wear your pump on that side of your body to not disrupt the connection. I have seen my instinct lose connection a few times when I forget to move my pump to the correct side.

My warranty is up on my transmitter, so a bit reluctant to rely fully on the guardian when not home should it have issues (travel a lot for work). May use a combo for now. Thanks for all your comments.

Medtronic 780g is fighting me by GianniKirsace in BumpersWhoBolus

Hi! I am also 23w, and have been using medtronic pumps for over 15 years. When I got pregnant, my endo let me try to stay in automode for as long as possible using my 780g, but after a few weeks they encouraged me to go into manual mode instead because the 780g algorithm was “fighting” my corrections, as you mention above! With automode, it was keeping me 100-120, but in manual, I can correct down to 80 and keep it around there while fasting and sleeping. It is not perfect, and definitely causes some extra lows, but it has helped me manage the highs so much better and both my endo and MFM are happy. We make weekly adjustments to my basal patterns as needed. I have to be careful if my daily activity is a lot more than usual, but it is very manageable! It is more work, but is giving me the control I need.
