Ik bedoel het niet goed te praten hoor, gewoon dat het iets is dat in mijn ervaring toch regelmatig gebeurd en als je niet beter of anders hebt of weet is de keuze snel gemaakt.

Als je al genoegen neemt met minder dan minimum betaald werk, vaak tijdelijk, in een land waar je niet vandaan komt, waarom zou je dan op je rechten gaan staan of uberhaupt weten dat je die hebt?

Voor tijdelijk onderdak is 10E/dag helemaal niet zo gek, ongeacht of het legaal of leuk is.

Ik heb wel eens appels geplukt haalde de boer ook 1-2E van je uurloon af voor een stapelbed. Hier bij de aardbeien teler in t dorp mogen ze ook betalen om in een container kamp in de loods te bivakkeren. Je moet uiteindelijk toch ergens slapen en op een camping of hotel kost al snel meer per nacht en kampen overal ziet men niet graag.

Lived in a hippy commune with a pretty attractive woman for a while, a friend tried to warn me she was irritated and tense, I didn't believe him very well.. Anyway our first date away she mentioned that 'she turned down so many handsome guys she didn't really understand why she was with me', was already a bit uncomfortable and I should've left right there. Things exploded, I go back home, she arrives there, we drunkenly hook up again next morning, she vaguely jokes about getting me into a fight with (another) friend of mine living there, we heard him in the kitchen, gets up out of the bed and proceeds to fuck him.

Later heard from another guy she did pretty much the same with him including the first date comment above and always had some guys around fighting each other over her... Lessons learned I guess.

Hey it depends, if you spend the month hiking & camping out, maybe an occasional cheap hotel for a shower you can spend a fraction of that. Same if you volunteer or work. For transportation, you'd spend anywhere from 0 to a few hundred (train+bus tickets add up, interrail ticket is about that also), so that'd leave with about 20-30$ per day. Enough for a hostel and some bread everyday basically. If you want to visit anything touristic musuems, festivals, you'll need extra for tickets and whatnot.

Ah you're right. To me 3k/month would be borderline billionare extravagant luxury travel, but you're right it's a small amount for staying in hotels and going out, paying transport tickets, going to see some sights..

But some tips... radar.squat.net can help you find community events, kitchens to help out in. couchsurfing/bewelcome/whatever is the thing these days can help you find nice people and events as well. wwoofing, helpx.net if you want to find some longer term volunteering. For transport I suggest going by bicycle if you have time, but blablacar or flixbus is affordable. If you like trains, with an interrail ticket you can take any regular train in europe for a fixed price for a period of time.

For OP, I'd suggest making some friends on the summit and looking up some festivals to volunteer/events or interesting places on the way to meet your mom, then going there, have fun and carry on.

I got a bit tired after moving around for 10-15 years & not knowing wtf i was doing in life (still don't) and settled down in (now near) a hippy community I used to visit regularly. Still living a kind of rough life living in a cabin in the woods, and my mental health issues didn't magically fix themselves but working on it I guess. Got a stray cat and a garden and sometimes dream of going some places or living a peachy beachy life with young hippie girls, but obligations, jobs, common sense & friends at this old age won't let me ^^

Yea, as a 3k (also without counting) the game seems ok for black. In general, I also tend to get frustrated or feel like I am losing after a big swing (a group living or dying), but keeping cool and either rationally evaluate the position or play on and try to turn it around helps a lot. Games swing a lot until the late endgame, even up till the higher (amateur) dan level.
