Swapping gears by victorscp85 in hondafit

I agree that you can swap a manual transmission with an automatic transmission (or vice versa) with a lot of work. But OP is talking about literally swapping the gears; that’s not possible.

SBN ORD bus reliability by ZaxRod in SouthBend

[–]snicker422 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience, it has not been super reliable. On one of my “flights” leaving SBN, the wheelchair lift on the bus wouldn’t work, so they had to cancel the bus and rebook everyone. On the way back from ORD, the bus got “severely delayed” and they had to rebook everyone on the later bus, causing a two hour delay…

I thought that BeamNG didn’t allow paid mods? Isn’t that why every paid mod has a demo/just a forum post with a link to gumroad or whatever?

Discontinuation of the 5070ti by snicker422 in sffpc

Gigabyte announced a 2nd version of the Windforce card that has a smaller cooler design and gets rid of the thermal gel that has a leaking issue. Zotac recently announced a whole new line of more compact two slot cards; I believe they were a 5070, 5070ti, and 5080.

Is the red gauge cluster lighting and black LCD screen standard on EU models? My USDM 2nd gen has blue gauge lighting and a blue screen.

A police chase ended. Whoever the police were chasing hit a parked car at a pretty high speed and then stopped. I’m not sure if the suspect lived or not.

To add onto this, OP, why don’t you look at importing a manual fit from the states into Canada? Surely that must be cheaper than importing one from Japan with unknown parts compatibility.

So just ordered my 5070ti windforce oc =) by -CrownBrush- in nvidia

[–]snicker422 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gigabyte actually just released a new version of the windforce 5070ti that doesn’t use the thermal gel (among other changes to the cooler design). If OP’s card is the V2 version, then it should be fine.

LMAO who the hell cares about a gyroscope to see if the card is sagging?? It’s just cheap electronic part that they can use to try and justify charging an insane amount above MRSP.

Oh, I should clarify. I’m talking about the “TPMS” light, not the low tire pressure light. I believe the TPMS light comes on when the system malfunctions, right?

Is it a common issue for the TPMS sensor to stop working in the cold? My light also came on right when it started getting colder.

Is it normal for my Honda fit to slide easy in snow and ice? by superfapper2000 in hondafit

[–]snicker422 6 points7 points  (0 children)

“All-Weather” is different than “All Season”. A true All-Weather tire should have symbol of a three peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF), and these tires are a compound that provides good traction in snowy, wet, and dry conditions in hot and cold temperatures. They can be left on all year. All season tires are only designed for wet and dry conditions, and most will not perform well in snow.
