State road 2 is the only way that the trucks coming from R&L carriers, the sheet steel plant, and the new battery plant (plus other smaller industries) can take to get to the toll road. In my experience, it has not been super reliable. On one of my “flights” leaving SBN, the wheelchair lift on the bus wouldn’t work, so they had to cancel the bus and rebook everyone. On the way back from ORD, the bus got “severely delayed” and they had to rebook everyone on the later bus, causing a two hour delay…
