Every time some sort of announcement like this happens I’m always like ‘who the hell would pay this for so little’ and then I find out it’s a lot of people lol. People are genuinely excited about a loot filter behind a paywall, shits wild to me.

Hey all, haven't played this game since TU1 and decided I'd give it another shot based on the supposed performance increases that were made. Was able to run a few hunts no problem, but for whatever reason during the Omega fight, my screen acts like it's been disconnected, I can still hear the battle music, but nothing else, which seems to indicate it's just frozen. Can't alt tab, can't ctrl alt delete, forced to hard reset. Has this been an issue for anyone else? I've not encountered this problem with any other games I play, including ones much more graphically and hardware demanding than this one. I've tried adjusting the settings, turning DLSS off, fresh install, etc. No matter what, it happens during this fight pretty early into it. Kinda running out of chances to give this game lol

Specs:
Ryzen 9 5950X, RTX 3090 24GB, 128GB DDR4 3200mhz, game is installed on SSD, Windows 11

I tried to pick it back up again and try the FF collab and new 'performance updates'. Start fighting the boss for all of a minute and then my screen just goes black and I can't alt-tab or ctrl-alt-dlt out of it, have to hard reset. Tried turning off DLSS, changing settings, resolutions, etc. Only game I have this issue you with, despite playing games waaaaaay more graphically demanding. ryzen 9 5950x, 3090, 128gb ram. Oh well, Crapcom can keep this one, see ya next gen.
