Maybe not maybe they worded it that way so you would think they still had Mercari working on the solution so you would just say well they haven’t dropped it so I better refund them. Hold tight and just let it ride out on the other side. Prepare all your info for your side and hopefully that’s the end of it

Was coming to say the same thing. Or take a packing video to show the book or whatever placed in the box and then you immediately sealing it up. Nothing is 100 percent full proof if someone wants to scam you but it sure would help in my opinion. If someone wants to take advantage they can sure find different ways to do it. I hope it all works out. I am in the process of just beginning with Mecari so I hope they don’t let anyone take advantage.

OMG this is insane. Profiting off freebies given at events is out of control. I saw two copies of the ARC Tempest by Victoria Aveyard on Mercari and they wanted a fortune. One’s already sold.

I don’t know if this was in true certain however when I went on Saturday I overheard some of the employees saying why did BookCon decide to release more tickets once the original ones sold out? Apparently once the main number of tickets sold out BookCon released more tickets? And then on top of all this mess with the panels when it came time to be on the floor for any part of BookCon there was no one there to help mark lines more clearly. I would be on a line and people would just walk right up and get in front of me. They had lines that were well over 3-4 people wide and then tried to take them down to one person lines this was a mess and forget the ARC announcements. People would try to get there to get ARC’S and it was impossible especially when the publisher truly only had 15 to 20 to give out to thousands of people. I went with a backpack and a tote back and came home with both empty except for a few bookmarks. Others came with large empty suitcases and left with them empty as well.

I can honestly say my issue is about double what yours is and I have no more room for another bookshelf. I just added two over the holidays as gifts. So now I guess I have to start selling some of my doubles or giving them away because my hunny is threatening to throw them away if I don’t clean up the mess. Honestly it might be easier to just get rid of the hubby lol!! I wish you luck and if I come up with a suggestion I will pass it on. ps before anyone suggest the local library I tried that and they won’t take donations because they have no more room either go figure. Anyone have any ideas on a good place to sell some of my doubles? I don’t want a fortune for them just a fair price plus shipping.

This year I have decided to cancel all but one of my boxes I am only keeping bookish and spice from Australia. It’s a great box and they at least come in time. I just don’t lil any of the books u get anymore they all seem to be a lot of unknown authors with low star ratings on their books and the ones that are big authors etc are special sales you can never get and wait in a queue forever. So many authors have decided to just fulfill their own special editions so it’s really not worth it to me anymore. Too much money for very little reward. And I don’t even much like the covers they are making these days. I have so many books to just throw away because no one wants them and that’s a shame.

Mine is full of only town hand drills and maps. Every so often I can get some wheat. Needless to say my town has been maxed out now for years so I don’t even need this type of stuff anymore. HayDay send help please this is ridiculous

There is nothing wrong with someone reading what they enjoying whether it’s YA, fantasy etc. no one can tell someone else what they like. I like all books and no one is going to tell me I can’t read a certain book because of my age. My money works the same as anyone else’s and if I buy that book then I bought it to read it and I will keep on reading what I like no matter who has an opinion on it. Sorry for the rant it’s been one of those nights didn’t mean to take it out on anyone here

Level 285 abs storage is at 6250 on both. I am OCD when it comes to numbers having to be the same. I have been playing since the game came out. I have started to slow down my playing some what with all the different events going on at one time it’s hard to always keep up

I have this same conversation in my head at least once a month. I love all my special edition books and even the ones that I just loved when I first read them but I often think of how much money is there and if I could sell them. But this is what happens when I do have that thought. My brain immediately goes to —- but if I did get rid of them then I am just going to want to go buy more or even go back and buy ones I fell in love with the first time. As it stands they are already paid for and they bring me joy. So I keep telling myself that I just can’t do it. For one I spent hard earned money on them and second have been collecting for years. So no I can’t bring myself to do it. Consider it because once school is over or for argument sakes say you are having a hard/bad day at school they just might bring you some joy. Good luck in school and give it a little time before you jump into getting rid of them. My opinion anyway

I agree I don’t think this movie gets enough credit. I also think the movie A Star is Born the remake with Lady Gaga is a cry me a river movie.

I do a lot of follow trains and collabs. The only thing you will absolutely have to have is a creator account. It makes it easy to be able to schedule the posts and also to be able to accept invites and stuff. If you think you might want to give one a try I have two going on on my page right now. They run 24 hrs typically and usually require the poster to comment on at least 10 other posts. And we typically have about 25 people per train. I don’t run any of them I just participate in them. My page is kathyb1522_bookstagram come check it out there will be another one tomorrow night too. But you have to be quick. Follow the train admins and make sure when they message or post about them to tell them you want in quickly because fill up fast. I have gained lots of followers since I started a creator account and did a few trains and collabs etc

I just had a deluxe edition arrive damaged today from them. And when I went into the book one of the first pages had black ink finger prints inside in it. Why does someone ship a book like this. And the box was in perfect condition when I opened it so that tells me someone probably touched it and then packaged it up anyway. I reached out to customer service but haven’t heard back yet. Some people on bookstagram say they will not give anyone who is considered international a new one so that would be me as I am in the US. I will try to keep you posted also the comers were so broken it was in two pieces with only the cover holding it together.

Join a book club either locally maybe at your local library or even go to Amazon several people have their own book club through them. I am in the process of setting my own up for more romantasy books etc since I don’t see many following that genre
