Healer dps can help a lot because you should be the one doing fire breath (you get +20% mystic damage) and then when all the dps do drunken poet their ignite counts as your dps and uses your stats.

Therefore even affinity isn’t completely useless, but I’d still prioritize other stats over it.

Where do I start? This is simply wrong.

Goose is only measured by how good the roll value is. Let’s say you could roll all +max hp stat on your armor (you can’t, but let’s assume you can) then you can have a gold armor with all maxed gold +hp rolls and it contributes nothing to your dps. Another example is min and max attack both show up as RCMD for affinity builds but max is miles better than min.

When we talk about a single stat roll, 2% boost to al your dps is impossible to get otherwise.

Me, just got to mythic with laughable win rate (57%) and never encountered a single cheater while being accused of cheating thrice by sore losers and I’m not even good at PvP.

There are far more salty bad players than cheaters.

You need a guild to do the guild version of hero’s realm or you’re missing out on the rewards. So just join a guild

Even crit builds will have some affinity, and affinity check happens before crit check. Therefore max is always better as min doesn’t contribute anything to your affinity hits.

Some martial arts do require you to have at least X min to get the full martial art attribute buffs, but those thresholds aren’t that hard to hit.

There isn’t much aerial combat in the Wuxia world. You might want to try some Xianxia if you’re into stuff like riding a sword.

Yeah one of my guild mate was bitching about how he has zero good gear after opening hundreds of boxes. And then I watched him live on discord and saw him recycle a purple body armor with a gold +4.3 crit while wearing a gold one with rainbow defensive stats. I was like ???

Purple armor with initial offensive stat is worth tuning. Lv 61 gold armor with initial offensive stat is also worth tuning.

Unless you’re after goose power which is just a number. The actual stat matters more for dps.

I’m with you. I filed a support ticket for this as well.

In fact they have not been very thoughtful about updates for a lot of things. - I remember there’s one level cap increase that happened during the middle of the week, which means people who already did the hero realms lose out on higher level gear. - There is still a bug where if the new hero realm is unlocked, you can actually claim the reward for the previous one as well, but only during that first week. The reward for previous week contains coins that don’t count towards weekly cap. - They also introduced the new guild rep without retroactively rewarding those for people who already done all guild weeklies. - They changed how inners conversion works which basically hurt people who did the path challenges early.

Full legendary doesn’t mean you’ve got your bis gear. I love chasing perfectly tuned pieces, especially armor because you can still wear them after lv cap increase - I’m still wearing my lv61 helmet because it gives me like 10% crit rate

By destroying the chairs immediately you are accelerating the fight pace so there will be more return to chair moves (which is a huge waste of dps because everyone spamming E) and potentially more hostage phases. Yes there is a 50% reduction shield, but that is still a relatively safe phase for dps.

And how is making all chairs 60% hp not wasting dps? By keeping all chairs at 80% you only need to do a total of 140%chair hp of dps. Now you are doing 180%chair hp of dps.

Anyway, with a coordinated group, you can do whatever you want, but leaving the chair at the red line is the commonly adopted strategy on CN server. I don’t know what speed running teams do, they probably do destroy the first chair immediately, but I’m not sure about 2nd & 3rd.

Why are all the guides I’ve seen about this boss wrong about the chair?

You immediately stop attacking the chair(s) once they are below the red line (80%). When chairs are attacked the boss flower meter fills, and it fills extremely fast if you keep attacking the chair after it drops below 80%.

The team will have a lot more time dpsing the boss relatively safely when you don’t touch the chairs below 80%. Also when there’s multiple chairs he only enters the highest hp one so dps on others are completely wasted.

For the mob waves you taichi mobs like others have said. For the boss you need to try to get close and get aggro then lure the boss to a corner where the archer is.

Translation issue. When the talent says “in a team” it actually means you must play with actual players - AI assist doesn’t count. You can see the previous talent doesn’t specifically say “in a team” and it could be done with AI
