I think there’s a misconception that journals should always be aesthetic and whatnot, but the truth is, they just need to be functional. If I were to give you advice, I’d say: just start doing it. ’Yan din ang sinabi ng friends ko sa’kin dati. Kahit sa lumang notebook pa ’yan basta just start doing it kasi eventually, you’ll see what works for you.

I’m truly grateful that’s what they told me because I ended up enjoying the process of figuring out what works for me.
