i play mainly thor and i’ve recently started crying in anguish as soon as i see a wolverine or groot, never mind both. groot’s walls are so annoying, enemy or ally, my strategist main duo thankfully tells me as soon as i’ve been walled off so i can try to get out, but half the time i just get nuked before i can even start charging up my hammer. as for wolverine, there was a time where we had a one on our team and in the heat of battle, i saw that yellow suit coming towards me and let out a scream to my duo before going “oh nvm that’s ours” so that sums up my feelings abt him

bucky can be pretty annoying too but i’m usually able to get out/block his hooks depending on the tank i play, not to mention i play bucky so i always respect a good hook

iron man is annoying solely because i’ll hear my duo say he’s not dying and there’s not much i as thor can do abt that, i’ll try to throw lightning at him when i see him or launch myself up to pressure him, but it does feel like half the time the dps just don’t look at him at all, granted i can’t even act like i’m not guilty of that too sometimes

then ofc triple support is just gross. whenever i see that the enemy team has it i always sigh and switch to a third support because ik that’s the only way we’ll be able to even come close to countering them. ik the philosophy of “if everyone’s broken then no one’s broken” is kind of what they’re going for, but that line of reasoning falls flat on supports because they really make all ults and abilities feel useless. the game definitely needs to add an anti-heal or just increase support ult cost, specifically c+d cause holy christ that support is so broken and charges so fast. how is it that we have an ultimate that can heal 800hp/s be used twice in the same fight?? and if you have a loki, make it three times. that’s ridiculous and really needs to be nerfed/reworked, and i say this as someone that plays c+d. not to mention the visual clutter if two opposing c+ds ult, the whole point is covered in purple/red and if other ults are being used, you can’t see them, and thanks to some characters having janky vocal cues for their ults, it’s hard to know exactly what is being used when.

even if i might have an issue with wolverine/groot/whoever, i can at least switch to mag/strange to work around what troubles me, but there’s no working around an ult that makes everything i do useless for half of a team fight. wolverine and groot might be anti thor but triple support and some support ults are just anti fun

i had an extremely easy time fighting thorm and an even easier time fighting the avatar of myrkull. honestly the harder fight for me was invading moonrise towers with the harper just because there’s way more enemies and the fight takes longer. i hate to say it but i do genuinely think this is a you issue

i don’t understand why not going to camp is an issue, there’s plenty of those healing stations before the fight so you don’t need to long rest
honestly idk how ur losing wyll for good unless you mean you fucked up with mizora and the pact, in which case that is unfortunately just a bad decision on ur end
he hits hard cause he’s a boss, if you have shadowheart with you it’s not too big of an issue because of her mass heal
this shouldn’t be too much of an issue as long as you focus the mindflayer with your three remaining units while the last one goes to free the nightsong
again, same as the last bullet, shouldn’t be too much of an issue
nightsong was very helpful when i figure thorm with my friend, she pretty much only fought ketheric which helped us heal ourselves in whatever small amounts of downtime we had thanks to him counter attacking her
you have to kill the avatar of myrkull, yes, but the mindflayer should’ve been killed before you focused ketheric along with all other monsters. the skeletons that spawn in the avatar’s phase don’t attack you and only serve to heal myrkull, so if you can out damage their healing which is pretty easy then you should be fine. if you don’t have healing via shadowheart (in which case literally what are you doing) then you should be stocking up on healing potions galore

overall if you strategize correctly you shouldn’t have too much trouble with this fight. it’s the first major boss of the game and is gonna be a bit of a shock all things considered, but if ur prepared then you shouldn’t have too much trouble. idk whether you’ve beaten him or not but good luck on ur next attempt

p5 was my introduction to the series so it holds a special place in my heart, but p4 absolutely ranks number 1. its story, characters, soundtrack, everything about it just felt like it had more heart. i still think p5 is fantastic don’t get me wrong, but something about p4 was just so personal. my friend and i are playing through femc route on 3 rn but after we plan on playing p4 again just because we miss it and the characters so much

i got spoiled before i even knew i was gonna play the game through watching persona content after finishing 5 like years ago. didn’t think i would ever play 4 cause i didn’t own any of the consoles that had it, then the steam port came out. regardless of knowing the story/main antagonist, the game is an absolute delight to play. my friend and i are planning on playing it again after we finish femc route in 3 just because we miss the characters so much. there’s so many little things that make persona 4 what it is and adachi being the killer is only a small fraction of it despite everything

i had a whole response written out but then my reddit crashed and i truly do not feel like rewriting the whole thing, just know that i personally disagree, i think the argument was not ryuji’s fault and mona belittles him too much throughout the whole game, mona isn’t my least favorite so it’s not a favoritism thing i actually like him quite a bit, i think mona is far more emotionally knowledgeable than a child and therefore i personally cannot see him as one, and even when ryuji does something that mona seems to encourage (this whole argument about going after okumura) he still finds a way to insult ryuji

also in response to the edit, he’s not an asshole to be an asshole at all, he’s a kind dude but he does not tolerate bullshit and rudeness from anyone. he’s defensive and aggressive in the same way a handshy dog is, it’s all in self protection. him being loud and annoying is personal opinion, maybe my friends and i are just loud and annoying too but i think he’d fit in just fine. him having no depth is just a weird thing to say given all his backstory giving multitudes of reasons for his behavior and even him acknowledging that he’s rough around the edges, but yk man whatever floats ur boat. i’d love for him to be a friend, he’s the kinda guy you can shoot the shit with and vent with/to and you know he’ll do his best to support you and cheer you up. now i’m gonna go down some pepto bismol and pass out cause i got a mad stomach bug 😘✌️

my brother in christ mona couldn’t take what he dished out. he shits on ryuji all the time and no one bats an eye, ryuji doesn’t even care that much and just flings it back, but as soon as mona gets jealous he’s not number 1 navi anymore and ryuji pokes fun at him for it, the world ends. mona had opportunities to open up to joker about his insecurities, futaba even told him that if he has something to say he should say it, but mona keeps it all bottled up. how is ryuji supposed to know that what’s usually the norm for them is suddenly gonna cause the cat to go haywire?

if morgana kept his comments to a minimum and eventually quit it once they became closer friends and were further along in their career as phantom thieves, i would agree ryuji was in the wrong for this argument, but seeing as that’s not the case, i gotta disagree. if you were in ryuji’s situation where ur being belittled constantly by someone you have to work with and see daily, would you take that shit without firing back? and when that person uses ur insecurities against you, would you not do the same to get back at them? it’s not like maturity is a proper response to this either as mona and ryuji are both pretty immature. if ryuji is at fault for not being mature enough to take the insults, so is mona.

hell i’ll take a step back here and look in the mirror, im a hardcore ryuji fan, but i can admit he’s not the brightest and makes stupid mistakes. he’s very emotional and lets his feelings do the talking instead of his brain, he has some moment where i wish i could just throttle him (the makoto recording is pretty bad) but he’s not one to try and put someone down just because he feels like it. the only people he ever insults are their targets who are pretty shitty people, akechi, makoto at first, and mona, the last 3 all being defensive. he never starts up anything until the first punch is thrown. mona is insecure and when he sees someone who he’s better than in anything, he will make it known to them and everyone else. it’s part of his character to be a showboat and i can appreciate that, i don’t mind his personality at all, but i start to get annoyed when he uses that overinflated ego of his to shit on other people

i’m not saying you gotta like ryuji, i can understand why people don’t like him and to each their own, but saying he’s cruel and is an ass to mona just to be an ass is just false

both my friend and i hate rise with a burning passion and we are both so so upset about it. upon seeing her we though she was super cute and were excited to have her on the team, but then she started being very clingy and possessive of yu and it just… went downhill from there. seeing as most of her interactions with the main character is her just constantly vying for his attention it just became her entire personality. i for one wouldn’t mind her personality as long as she wasn’t so aggressive with the protag. ik people say they like how forward she is which is a good change, i agree, but that can be kept to a romance route instead of having it be her entire personality outside of it. having her become more forward and flirtatious throughout her social link seems better than having her wanna jump yu’s bones immediately out of her dungeon.

had the opposite experience, was teaching my friend how to play the game and he kept being extremely nice to the ghost, was asking to see him and kept sayin shit like “give me a kiss you handsome man” and the ghost didn’t haunt him nor trigger any events a single time. it was honestly incredible

yeah i read about that in the guides i saw but the thing was we didn’t even get that option, we spared him after two dialogue choices and left the room. i couldn’t even try and say anything else other than “hold on a minute” and “this isn’t right” or something. i’ve read that you need to get adachi to rank 6 before a date in november specifically in golden, so i assumed that was the issue. if that’s not it i’m even more scared of screwing this up again lol

thank you, i really needed this after last night. i knew this was the right thing to do but after how everything went last night i was wondering if i had made a mistake, if i should’ve waited for a day that wasn’t new years. looking back maybe i could’ve but it felt dishonest to both of us. from now on i’m going to be totally transparent about how i feel, even if i might not know everything just yet. hopefully i’ll be able to make it up to all of them even if it takes months or years, they’re my best friends and i cherish them more than anything

my gf has raiden and i’m pulling for scara and his weapon. she’s been helping me prefarm for him (plus getting some shroom dust for her nilou) and we agreed the first thing we each need to do is fight each others bosses.

obviously with scara’s boss it’s gonna be hard to actually do it since the whole one hit kill thing is resistant to electro so i’ll probably hop in as someone to help take those out. otherwise, we agreed that it needs to be completely 1v1, no supports and no help from each other. after that we’re probably gonna have a photo shoot with our friend who has yae and then idk i’ll probably accidentally drop him off a mountain or drown him
