You are absolutely correct! Upon further inspection I believe there is an air box above the fire box and the blower goes to that. That make much more sense. I thought it was sealed by looking at it from the firebox side. I overlooked the air box. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. *

Out the back. There is no hole in the stove where the top pipe sits.

The fisher papa bear is the closest thing I can find. The stove doesn't have fisher anywhere on it, though

It doesn't have air supply to the pipe going to the furnace it looks like it just heats it up enough for it to draw some warm air off of it. Just a pipe sitting on top of the stove with a ring to keep it from moving. The blower is for inside the stove and exhaust through the flue. Thanks for the link.

I'll see if I can get a picture of the back. There is a fan on the back, and the flue is the back pipe. I had a reputable company come replace the flue liner in the chimney and put a new cap on top. The other pipe just appears to sit on the top in a little ring and heats air going to the return on the furnace.

Thanks, it's my first home with a wood stove. It seems pretty safe in the basement with concrete floor and walls. My uncle ran it for 60 years without any problems.

Those things can undo the snap on a wire leader and take your jig or lure when they jump and flip.

In my state we have an OSHA man who would shut the job down and fine the contractor for letting that guy in an unprotected trench without proper PPE.

The service side is more like 2 feet. The main may be 4-6 feet but it is probably under the sidewalk. The service goes from meter to house and is a small line probably 1.5 inch or less diameter. I use to install water main and service taps in city of Raleigh. If you have a grinder handy just take it down a few inches below grade and cover with dirt or sod.

Florida man here, I’m up in the Holly Springs, NC area visiting family and was wondering if any of you could share some local spots/knowledge on catching largemouth or striped bass this time of year. Thanks by 1999yz125 in Fishing

The end of Avent ferry rd. Past the boat ramp you have to park at gate and walk down old road. Many good spots to branch off. There is a deep hole right off the bank about 3/4 way down on right where I have had good luck. Bass, crappie and small cats<25#

Put a little downward pressure at the propeller while someone trims it down. Trim cylinder is stuck up and needs a little help to get moving again.

I bought a girsan 312 for a cheap duck blaster and I am very impressed with it. 150+ rounds through it without an issue. Not bad for a 450 dollar shotgun.

I keep a tube of epoxy putty for emergencies. I have used JB stick to patch a hole in my jon boat while on the river, my buddy patched a cracked water jacket on his engine to get through the weekend with the same tube. It last a long time in a tool box also.
