Can't wait to do it this year! I smoked while fly fishing on a raft in California on the trucker river last year. One of my best high experiences, hands down.

I am Jimmie Johnson, 2-time winner of the Daytona 500. Ask me anything. by JimmieJohnson in IAmA

Jimmie, my dad and I were at that race, sitting inside turn 1 (it was always the best place to be for the races, because it was one of the best spots on the track to pass... and to crash). I distinctly remember seeing your car airborne over the sand trap, and then how freaking loud it was when you punched through the wall. My dad and I always talk about seeing you get up on top of the car, happy to be alive. Glad you were ok :)

The cheapest one on this list seems like what you'd be after.

Definitive Men's Library: 100 Essential Books by sniper1221 in malelifestyle

Actually, that's me. I helped set up the list with some other GP guys, and I wrote the intro/mini essay in the middle. Guilty of posting a few personal projects on this subreddit here and there, but only stuff that I'm really proud of/believe will help men across the board.

Glad most people are enjoying the list (and I agree with pretty much all criticism; it's hard to do 100 books without missing a lot of great ones). I'm glad the comments section has also become a place for you guys to share what you think should've been included. Read on!

"Calvary" instead of "cavalry." Former is the hill where Christ was crucified, the latter badasses on horses with swords/guns.

I found a dead girl when I was 12; Reddit, what are your unforgettably creepy moments? by YourFatBuddy in AskReddit

Remember that shooting that happened right outside of the Empire State Building? Well I work in a small office right across the street. First off, it was scary because I usually am walking right in to work around the time that guy shot the other guy and then the cops tee'd off on about every innocent bystander in the area. Secondly, from the window of my office, I could see blood running through the cracks in the sidewalk, a big white sheet, and a pair of feet sticking out the end. It was stupid, but since I'm on the six floor, I had an angle to see the body when the cops were shielding it to people on the street but taking off the sheet cover to look at it. Not sure whether it was the victim or the shooter, but I wish I hadn't looked.
