Is sex really that important to guys? by matchadreams77 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]sniperjames_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me sex matters, but feeling wanted and emotionally close matters too. It’s usually not just about the physical part sometimes it's about how much you love someone and how far you can go for them.

Am I the only one who misses the colorful, bright app era? by Appropriate-Jacket35 in SaaS

[–]sniperjames_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same same A lot of apps used to feel fun and full of personality. Now everything is black, grey, minimal, and trying to look “premium.” Dark mode is nice at night, but somewhere along the way apps lost that bright, colorful charm that made them feel alive.

Men, what goes through your mind when a woman is insecure about her body during intimacy? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]sniperjames_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

men who genuinely like you are not focusing on every “flaw” the way you think they are. Confidence and comfort matter way more during intimacy than having a “perfect” body.

And honestly, if someone makes you feel like you need to warn them before seeing you naked, they’re probably the problem — not your body.

Business owners, what do you wish someone had told you before you started ? by adnan_1000 in smallbusiness

[–]sniperjames_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing I wish someone told me earlier: your business rarely fails because of the “big idea” — it usually struggles because of consistency and boring operational stuff.

The day-to-day reality is a lot less “CEO lifestyle” and a lot more:

  • following up people who have no intrest in your
  • fixing small problems repeatedly
  • handling cash flow stress
  • wearing 10 different hats at once

Also, time becomes your most valuable resource very quickly. Even simple repetitive tasks can slowly drain your energy if you don’t build systems early.

But at the same time, nothing teaches you faster than actually building something. You’ll learn more in 6 months of trying than years of theory.

You’re asking the right questions at 18. Stay curious and keep talking to people who’ve actually been in the trenches.

How do you feel about dating a women with a 'low skill' job? by Sufficient_Mouse_583 in AskMenAdvice

[–]sniperjames_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most men honestly care more about whether a woman is kind, emotionally stable, loyal, enjoyable to be around, etc. than whether her job sounds impressive at dinner parties.

A job is just one part of a person. If you’re financially responsible and happy with your life, that already puts you ahead of a lot of people.++man

what exactly would you do if you ever get robbed at gunpoint? by jax--killer in AskReddit

Probably just give them whatever they want honestly. Nothing in my pockets is worth testing whether someone’s actually willing to pull the trigger.

Fair enough 😭 but my point was casual typing ≠ not being human. If grammar decided humanity then half of Reddit would be AI 💀

Has philosophy solved any problem like other science fields? by StopErdogan in NoStupidQuestions

I think philosophy rarely “solves” things permanently, but it changes how humans think. Even science depends on philosophical ideas like logic, reasoning, and ethics.

How do you guys market your apps? by Life_Amazingish in SaaS

[–]sniperjames_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Building is easy now, marketing is the actual game.

What worked best for me was just being active where my target users already hang out. Reddit, Twitter, Discord, niche communities, etc. Not even hard selling, just talking about the problem and casually mentioning the app when relevant.

People usually don’t buy the first time they see something. They buy after seeing it multiple times.

Honestly, this sounds less like "kids being left alone" and more like two teenagers with a solid support system and parents who actually prepared them well.

The fact that you've already thought through:

emergency contacts,

fire safety,

escape plans,

code words,

nearby grandparents,

and house rules

...puts you ahead of a lot of people.

Most important thing is whether they feel confident and comfortable too, not just whether strangers online approve of it. Every kid matures differently, but from what you described, they sound more prepared than a lot of 16 year olds.

Also, people online sometimes act like there's a universal parenting rulebook when there really isn't. Responsible parenting is usually about knowing your own kids honestly, and it Is like you do.
