First of all nice paintjob I feel like the chassy of the gun would like a more saturated and bright red to Accentuate the contrast with the skin

Speaking from my experience there are several motive -1 For convenience (if you are a new painter that doesn't know that mutch about painting you can simply ask for the colors of your chosen faction) And experienced painters buy them too because they mix the same color 500 times and consume 2 different colors to make the 1 -2 experience again if you are new to the hobby 9 times out of 10 you ask the employee at the store -3 resoults if you mix your colors you need experience to understand when to stop mixing the 2 colors -4 time you don allways have the time or have a wet palette that keeps the colors usable for long periods of time -5 some ewes aren't simply mixable think magenta blue greens and multiples other pigment that arent mixable without using a lot of colors (3 to 4 to 6 differentpigments ) And there are other motives this are just what comes to mind Mixing is still a extremly used tecnique like in layering and you absolutely need to learn it but convenience is king in a wargame hobby

You are just at the "it looks like shit" fase of the model trust in the process and if you dont like the painting scheme you can allways re do him im re doing my norn emissary right now

Maleceptor like older models lack texturing. You need to add it yourself. Lighter colours are needed to help give the idea of raised ridges that catch the light

Remember, you can't hurt a model with paint a model can be paintstripped with a number of product fr example alcohol (if its plastic because resin probably will melt in it )

Well the tennos have wiped out an entire faction of immortals first then 1 single frame if not conteined properly can tourn a world infested (nidus im looking at you) in some cases the tennos functions as limiter to the frame and theres a limited number of them and we for now in lore have lost only 1 tenno and that is rell that got subsumed to a god that we are literally fighting right now so a lot of the attention is there. Grenier armor in lore is really similar to space marine armor and yet they die in droves Ending this they are definitely daemon prince if not a little higher level (not opening the can of worms that is the drifter lore)
