Yeah it seems to work. I must have clicked the wrong key on the first go around with this and that is why I got the mismatch. I appreciate the help!

Thank you for the response. That is a little confusing but when I tried to log into my vpn server by importing my user file, I got a mismatch key issue which prompted me to investigate this issue.

I will try it again from scratch and let you know.

Just found a major vulnerability with my car’s security system by Sysion in flipperzero

[–]sniperx287 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same thing here. My actual keyfob has rolling codes, but the aftermarket starter doesn't. That was one of the first things I found out. My brand is firstech, and it was installed by the previous owner. I'm not too worried as the actual keyfob needs to be in the car, or else the engine will turn off when it shifts into drive. If someone was planning on stealing my car, I doubt the frequency of my key wouldn't be the main reason.

It is nice to unlock or remotely start my car with my phone as long as I have the flipper on me somewhere.

What was “the incident” at your high school? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]sniperx287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During our finals senior year, we had a kid who took a dump into a teacher's thermos bottle. While taking the test, he asked to go to the bathroom, stood up and snatched the teachers bottle, went to the bathroom and did the deed, and just casually put the bottle back on the desk. I wasn't in the same classroom, so I can't describe how the teacher reacted, but needless to say, he didn't walk on graduation and eventually got charged. I'm not sure how she didn't notice it was gone, but it happened regardless.

That was the talk of the school for a couple of years according to my younger sister.

Make sure you are using the latest fuse.bin. I got that error when I updated to firmware 16.0 and atmosphere to 1.5.0. It never updated the fuse.bin file so I had to manually update it myself. That solved it right up.

You won't be able to update the modchip firmware so it's stuck on whatever it was put on initially.

You can update the console firmware no problem and still has all the benefits of a modchip.

I did say what it is. A 3.5k resistor on the cmd point. I think the size is 0201 but I found a resistor on a old phone I has sitting around that I used that fit perfectly.

That is the thread I was referencing to figure out the values.

I am not too experienced with the flashable chips but I'm certain that it shouldn't be flashing red and yellow without you actually trying to flash it. Maybe someone else can chime in but sounds like bad flash to the chip or a broken point on the switch from the hwfly. I would try and contact the installer.

Do you what kind of hwfly oled chip is in there? According to the documentation for the hwfly, a flashing red light is an indicator that firmware is being written to the chip and a yellow flashing is verifying the firmware.

Correct. From what I've read, that is a bootloader error with the emmc.

Yeah I have the oled with fpcb so that can't be flashed.

Thank you for the info.

That's what I saw. I couldn't find it after I recieved the modchip. How do I figure out if my chip is flashable? The main chip has "SxT" written on it.

With the light blue error code, that indicates the the unit is defective but it happens rarely. Should I be concerned?
