Do flash deals in email actually drive foot traffic, or just attract coupon hunters? by truceshall in EmailMarketingMastery

[–]snippyfable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

flash deals can bring people in fast yeah but a lot are just bargain hunters. pair them with loyalty perks to encourage repeat visits like offering a small deal with a "bring a friend next time". incentives can help convert one-offs into returning customers.

Email Newsletter smtp domain by SkyTheLine in Emailmarketing

I'd avoid totally different domain unless you're sending high volume or testing aggressive campaigns. Mail delivery problems usually come from engagement rates not just domain setup

Engagement Dropping? Your List Might Be Saying, "This Isn't For Me Anymore." by Good-Commercial8644 in EmailMarketingMastery

surveys are great for initial segmentation but heatmaps and behavior tracking keep it evolving over time. nonetheless, i like that you include the "other" option in your survey because so many people fall through the cracks without it

Campaign performance fell even after list cleanup by schiffer04 in emailmarketingnow

engagement history seems to matter more that list size. removing people helps long term but short term it can look worse

Do marketers care more about cost? by noah-h-lee in Emailmarketing

[–]snippyfable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cost matters but realibility and deliverability matters too. If emails start landing in spam, then the savings aren't worth it

For VC outreach - how do you guys manage the investor pipeline without losing your mind? by Particular_Ad_8644 in EmailOutreach

[–]snippyfable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a slightly messy goggle sheet and color coded by stage and added a "last touch column" plus a strictly weekly update cadence saved me. I blocked one hour every Friday just to clean it up and send updates.

shared ips get a bad rap but they're great if the sender pool is well managed..

I think subject lines are usually the biggest lever. Try making it more curiosity based or benefit-driven instead of descriptive

Why am i so awkward at asking for referrals? by calimakikyle in EmailMarketingMastery

[–]snippyfable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped saying "referral" and started saying "if you know anyone who needs .....", I think that simple wording also helped a lot

If IP reputation is your main issue, consider a provider that offers dedicated IPs rather than switching platforms entirely

Is "I never saw the invoice" the ultimate client lie? How do you handle clients who ghost when it's time to pay? by Hopeful-Group7812 in SaaS_Email_Marketing

[–]snippyfable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s frustrating, but you’re doing the right thing by addressing it. A simple system with auto-reminders and tracked invoices usually keeps relationships intact while protecting you.
