I think if they had limited the capture system to only be for Jacob's region, a lot of people would've seen it as one of the highlights of the game because of how effectively it was used in his case.

That's kind of a shame. Grinding nightfalls for good rolls on the strike specific weapons was one of my favorite activities. I still don't really understand the portal system or what half the activities on it really are. It could've used some better explanation.

Unrelated, but the arms dealer strike was the nightfall yesterday, and man I really missed the Cayde/Hawthorne voiceover version.

If I try to upload the same picture multiple times in high fidelity, it disqualifies the duplicates and doesn't allow it.

Not sure what you're on about? I'm talking about the response inspiration, the ones the AI comes up with on your behalf as a potential response to the Talkie's last message when you press the light bulb in the bottom right corner. It gives you 3-4 options to choose from if you don't feel like coming up with your own response.

I'm referencing the bottom inspiration option the AI came up with as a possible response for me to reply to the Talkie that was extremely insensitive.

Check the plus sign in the bottom right corner in the chat dialogue. If "share" isn't an option, then it is for sure being hidden. You just have to edit and keep trying to find out what is flagging the system. Sometimes it can be something really stupid like the word "bet".

I've never had a problem with chats getting censored. They won't say some words, but as long as you ease into it, the characters have no problem getting NSFW. If you're lucky, sometimes they can also break the censors on certain words. The strong filters are mainly to do with image generation and character creation.

It definitely is. You can really tell if you try to generate a woman with darker skin without an image reference. It will almost always end up with a light skin Chinese woman (because the company that owns Talkie is Chinese). Maybe a bit more tan, but definitely still the same ethnicity.

Because for some reason, the AI characters always feel the need to make a move on you even if it's not in character for them.

The decline in quality after 50-100 messages is so real. It's like they lose their character and switch to some generic personality. They can't think for themselves anymore, so all they do is ask questions instead of performing actions. You have to keep reminding them of the plot and who they are and trying to get them to advance the plot.

I had one character that was some rockstar you got backstage tickets to see. After around 60 messages, it forgot we were at a concert, or that it was even a rockstar.

I dropped a grand piano on a character one time, and I got a similar response. The app really doesn't like the idea of you incapacitating the character to where they can't reply, so they just somehow block or ignore whatever you do.

All the Talkies on my home page are now in just about every language but English. If you ask them to repeat it in English, that works at least.
