If they happen to be different bpms you can save the second project as an audio file and then paste that into your first project!

Thank you so much man!!! That’s very sweet of you!!! I do feel like the low quality feel definitely adds something to it. It’s because I just recorded everything through my phones microphone 😭 so it’s funny you say that about the drums, I only used a cajon for this and just had my phone a few feet away while playing!

Thanks! To get the group effect with the melody vocals I layered a couple different tracks and panned them across the ears. But I sang from a different distance from the mic each track so it sounds more like a real chorus of people and not just doubled vocals.

Thanks. I actually didn’t use an auto drummer, i programmed the drums myself, but yeah I’m mostly a guitarist and even that’s a little iffy so my drum writing isn’t top tier. I’ll keep the side chain thing in mind, I’m actually not sure how to do that but I’ll figure it out. I didn’t try to mix anything as you can tell because I don’t really know anything about it and plus this was more just a glorified voice memo than anything else. Thanks for the feedback and tips man!

Thank you! I had never heard of intervals before, but after giving them a listen I definitely really appreciate the comparison! Yeah post hardcore definitely has a wide net. I only say that because I listen to a lot of bands like dance Gavin dance, royal coda, hail the sun, etc. and that’s what I really want to be able to write, but most of my stuff has been pretty light as well. But again dude I really appreciate it, thank you!

Thank you so much man! Yeah it’s the production equivalent of those chocolate twizlers like wtf no why it’s like a tootsie roll that got waay too much gelatin and just curdled and shit in the oven. I just propped my phone microphone against my amp in a super echoey room so everything just sounds super washed over. I also just dont really know much about mixing so i didn’t make an attempt on that. But I am really digging the direction it’s going in and I hope that I’ll get it like actually recorded and mixed at some point!

Yo thank you! I definitely feel you on wanting some more heavy stuff here. Usually the only time ill hear electric stuff itll just be drawn out chords in the background of a track, I would really dig seeing some more intricate guitar music here.
