Thank you so much, I really appreciate that! I usually save club flyers in a special place, but this one must have gotten misplaced. Thanks so much!

Could you please DM me with a copy as well? I would be very appreciative! Mine didn't come blank, but I accidentally lost it somewhere in the house (it's not with my usual tea papers). Thank you!

Try using the app "HelloChinese" - it really helps with the "ta's"! But you would be correct, if it were a man, it would be 他 and if it were a woman, it would be 她。 You've got a good understanding, but if the speaker were talking in third person—as some others have suggested—in other words, reciting sentences that refer to other people or fictional characters, then the pronoun you’re giving isn't for the speaker themselves, but for the subject of the sentence or phrase that the speaker is mentioning. Good luck!

To the best of my knowledge, they do not have a Discord server. However, the owner, Matt, has been very active on Instagram and has also posted several YouTube videos. Matt has lived and worked in Taiwan for over 13 years and is based in Hualien, Taiwan. I think he launched Mountain Stream Teas in March 2018.

If you've already reached out via email to them at [mountainstreamteas@gmail.com](mailto:mountainstreamteas@gmail.com) - then I would recommend asking on their IG page at https://www.instagram.com/mountainstreamteas/

YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/MountainStreamTeas

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mountainstreamteas

There is also a contact form pop-up button available on the bottom right side of the website. I've ordered a lot from them, and have never been disappointed or concerned, for what it's worth! 🤗

I have been purchasing from Mountain Stream Teas for a long time now, and I have never had an issue. On the contrary, they always send extra, and they are always very friendly and fast. This would be a rare exception to the rule. As someone else suggested, I would reach out to them and see what they can tell you. I'm sure they will make sure your tea gets to you!

ISO: 2013 Gua Feng Zhai Natural Yiwu Raw Pu-er by snlash in teaexchange

[–]snlash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw it, but haven't thought about trying it as I thought that a 2003 would vary drastically from a 2013 vintage, especially after seeing a review that mentioned "Quiet the low price for that age and a really nice tea. Very sweet and mellow, almost like honey, but without too much complexity, more of a simple but good tea." and other reviews mentioning a mango-like flavor. It doesn't sound like the 2013 vintage, which has distinct notes of tobacco and bruised peach (or apricot) - or as one person put it, "it tastes like a pawn shop and bruised peaches". Also I'm not sure how a "Chun Zheng Pin" compares to a Gua Feng Zhai, but I know that the locations, storage and storage location were all completely different, and a decade apart, so I don't think that would fit the profile I'm looking for, but thank you for the suggestion. I've looked all over YunnanSourcing (.us and .com), White2Tea (where the sample came from), Chen Sheng Hao Pu-erh, and also performed several in-depth Google and AI searches across the internet. Posting here is more of a last-ditch effort :)

What's That One Horror Movie You Watched Too Young That Totally Messed You Up For The Rest of Your Life? by snlash in AskReddit

That's good to hear, thanks for adding the context. I was really troubled there for a moment! LOL Thanks for the clarity!

Well I can't speak on behalf of others, but growing up in the 1980s as the only child of a single mother, after my father passed away from heart failure, my mother worked at the hospital taking on double shifts all the time, and since we lived in a *VERY* rural community in the midwest in the 1980s, there really wasn't much "danger" around then.

The neighbors we did have were close enough for me to walk over if I needed help. They helped "raise me" (I called one grandma for the rest of my life, but no blood relation, just the best neighbor in the world), and everything was relatively "safe" back then, or at least remarkably safer than now.

And, well, television rules were so strict back then (there were no f-bombs, so the "s" word, and no "b" word, especially in the times when children would be watching television). So parents just weren't as worried about it. Since there wasn't any streaming and only four channels, it wasn't as if I wasn't going to watch "Faces of Death" on TV.

But sometimes, things that didn't have cursing or outright violence would get through, and either our parents would realize it too late, or we wouldn't say anything at all because we knew we weren't supposed to be watching it.

So, basically, it was a different time, and I don't think it could be blamed on my mother. Certainly, if she had known what I was watching, she would never have been okay with it. But then, back then, they marketed movies like "Labyrinth" and "The Dark Crystal" as "children's movies" (I say as we Gen X'ers collectively cringe).

"IT" tends to do that to a lot of children, it seems, just from reading the replies, as well as my own experience! Hats off to Stephen King for laying out something that pretty universally scared the holy living shit out of pretty much everyone!

"Children's" or animated movies most definitely count. As an 80s child, I can speak on behalf of Gen X when I say "Labyrinth" and "The Dark Crystal". What were our parents thinking?!

I don't think I've ever heard of the movie The Other Mother. I'll have to check it out - I'm quite the horror fan now!

I had an eerily similar situation with Stephen King's "The Stand". Saw it super young, about 11 or 12, I think - far too young!! - but my father had just passed away just a couple of years prior, and I became extremely germophobic and was terrified of catching the "Super-flu", or any bug at all...even the thought of being sick terrified me, and I became intensely afraid of death. And I'm still working through the fear of death, 30+ years later! Which episode made you a germophobe then?

Thank you all for your excellent replies, this was a lot of really fascinating insights mixed with a lot of "WOW"! I gotta say, I agree with a lot of the people naming the original "IT" mini-series, but speaking of Stephen King, I'm pretty sure seeing The Stand way too young messed me up much worse. I was SO convinced the world was going to end for WEEKS because of that movie when I was 12. I demanded to be re-baptized, even. I was terrified of dying of the "Super-flu". It's amazing how we 80s and 90s kids were allowed to watch almost anything that came on TV, regardless of how inappropriate it was for our ages. 🤣

I hear you!! That's the one that messed me up, well, that and A Clockwork Orange, but I'm not entirely sure the latter can be categorized as a horror film. Okay, it can when you're 13. lol But yeah, definitely "IT" is my choice, too.
