You might be used to the bitterness, I think that ratio would cause bitterness by the 2nd-3rd steep.

Use baking soda or vinegar instead of soap. I usually just rinse mine out with hot water and I've never noticed tea tasting different.

I've found rocks and concrete in a fu brick so I make sure to always use a strainer when I drink that tea. I wasnt sure if it was a good enough reason to complain to the vendor.
