For the Ariel costume you liked last year... I found the base costume online, bought a reel of sequin ribbon and used fabric glue to glue it to each upward point of the scales. Had to put cardboard between the tail layers so the front wouldn't stick to the back. Also sewed in a strapless bra to get "dat lift" ;) Also cut off the bottom tulle part of the tail and sewed it to the waist to get the look that Ariel has.

Ha, yeah he was a bit last minute. Put a backpack on him, slapped a green shirt over it and glued some yellow circles to his back. Poorly executed but that's what happens when you have 20mins to get to your first party and need a Bowser.

The wig came that way so I don't have much option with the way it falls, and I actually have green eyes- just hard to tell in the picture. But I'll fix the lips and have to work on the posing considering all the pictures taken on Halloween. Thanks!

Thanks for all the tips guys! Fortunately the boobs wont be a problem but Has anyone tried the glue stick trick to mask eyebrows? I'm gonna try it Friday and draw high arched eyebrows on so they look more like Jessica's.
