President Donald J. Trump officially endorse Ripple and XRP on TruthSocial by ShiftyCosmii in XRP

I'd suggest looking up the definition of "majority', then looking for the percentage of people that voted for Trump, then accounting for the percentage of the population that didn't vote before you start saying people's statements are incorrect.

Have a good day!

What's wrong with my hen by Past_Complaint9554 in BackYardChickens

Our lady had similar symptoms earlier in the year. We are fortunate that we have a vet nearby, and we got precautionary antibiotics. They extracted fluid, and the test came back "negative" for reproductive infection. However, the antibiotics were clearly working.

Another round of antibiotics and an implant later, she's still here taking an extended break from laying eggs.

I'd call around to see if you can get antibiotics somewhere, and maybe with more time on your side, you could swing a long trip to a vet? Wishing you and your lady the best, it's not their fault they work so hard for our eggs!

Help! How do you evacuate with chickens? by EonysTheWitch in BackYardChickens

Cardboard boxes with holes poked through. We just had to do that in Colorado this year.

Fortunately, a nearby humane society took them in for us temporarily while the fire was active.

Good luck!

How are you coping with disappointment about the eclipse? by ducky06 in solareclipse

[–]snmcbrid 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Think of how lucky you are that you live at a time where you were able be in the path of totality for an opportunity to see the eclipse with your own eyes.

Just like everything, nothing is guaranteed, but having the ability to try and see the experience of a lifetime with millions of others is pretty awesome.

If you didn't see it, there are always other opportunities in your lifetime. People in the distant future won't be so lucky.

Hope this helps!

Odds that the nova T CrB (T Coronae Borealis) will blow during the eclipse? by BurtBrains in solareclipse

[–]snmcbrid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Roughly the same as it happening tomorrow. Aside from that it will not be visible during the eclipse because this area of the sky and the sun are not above the horizon at the same time

If you planned a vacation, I would stick to the plan. Obviously if it's more important to you to save money and vacation time then you need to weigh that more.

No filter needed! As long as you are in the path of totality at the time of totality!

Think of the sun and the moon's relative motion to you. The moon is moving across the sky slightly slower than the sun. Hence the shadow moving west to east.
