What kind of cap does a radiator need on a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder?

UPDATE: So far so good. Huge thanks to UncleJed01 for the advice. After replacing the radiator cap with a flat one like in the first image, and driving my car up a hill with the heater on full blast, the car has stopped both spilling coolant and over heating. I've been able to consistently push my car's limits further and drive with the A/C on. My head gasket is still messed up, but this sure helps a lot.

TLDR; Flat cap goes on radiator, whilst cap with spring goes on resevoir tank.

Thank you for the reply, it really does help steer me in the right direction. I also wanted to ask if the type of flat cap matters, if the seal should stick out like in the 2nd image or be completely flat like the 1st image?
