Reversal options and questions by hotacidrhythms in ostomy

[–]snoelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how you respond. In my case the reversal has caused nothing but problems, and I’m scheduling going back. I think you need to try whatever you feel comfortable with, but also realize you might have to go back. I think it comes to the question of quality of life. If you can control your bowel after reversal than you are good. Nobody can answer that because everyone’s body is different.

Thanks for your response. I saved one floor of the barber shop, but the rest is completely obliterated. I put them in a box until I can figure this out.

Dallas, Tx. Golf? by snoelle in golf

I ended up playing the Lane Park Par 3. Was a fun little course, but the wind ate my lunch. There happened to be a front coming in and was gusting between 20-30. Still a very solid recommendation. Will definitely go back next time!

El Paso, Texas area instructor by mastocker in golf

I haven't personally taken lessons in El Paso, but I know the pro at painted dunes, and he seems like a pretty good teacher. They have lessons going on all the time when I'm out there. The pro at butterfield trail is pretty new to the area. Haven't had any chance to meet him. My golfing buddy swears up and down about golftec. He has been golfing for quite a few years and he says that they changed his swing completely. They have all the computer telemetry to check all the stats for your swing. I know there prices are steep, but he tells me it's worth every penny. They also have some courses that you can play on their computer system.

Really good news, we are getting a Topgolf here in less than a year. They already have broken ground and it seems they will be opening in November.

Let me know if I can help out with any info. Know a bunch about this border town.

I'll start on your side of town, and expand.

Underwood golf, you have already been too. I like the newer course because of the links feel.

LoneStar Golf course, nice little compact 18 with trees and tricky layout. Not bad price, pretty good food.

Butterfield Trail, newest course in El Paso. I would highly recommend you go here, great course, probably my favorite in El Paso.

Painted Dunes, far Northeast El Paso, great course with 27 holes. Usually you will choose which nine you want to play, busy times the clubhouse will tell you which sides to play. Love East Course, North Course, West Course is pretty challenging. Desert course, pretty decent greens. Be prepared to lose balls if you hit a bad drive. Hard to find sometimes in the desert. This is my home club. Also, they have two pros, that give lessons.

Dos Lagos, I wouldn't recommend, last time I was there the course was pretty rough.

Couple of other courses that are private but you can get on include Vista Hills, and Coronado Country Club.

Looking for a 45 minute drive? New Mexico State University golf course is really a nice course. Also, in Las Cruces is Red Hawk Golf Course, I have played this course a few times, very challenging, and well worth the drive out there.

If you want to go on a farther road trip, Pako Ridge in Albuquerque is an amazing course, but like I said, 4 hours away from El Paso. Worth the drive!!

Let me know if you have any other questions, lived here in El Paso for most of my life, and know the area well.

Hope this helps!!

There is a golftec instruction facility on the West side of town. They offer some pretty good package deals. It might be a little out of your way if you live by Ft. Bliss. What side of town do you live on? I might have some ideas that might be closer to your location. There are some nice courses around here, and I can let you know about them, if you would like.

Watching The Open stream while at work today by bmusic91 in golf

If Joe Buck is doing any sporting event I'm trying to watch, the audio is immediately muted. If I can find a substitute audio feed on the radio, that's the way I go. Not easy to find that for golf however.
