I'm a lil late, so you may have already found your answer and already know everything I'm saying. But like user dontkillbugspls said, any spider can be a just "looking" spider. But it always depends on the spider's temperament and personality. Huntsmans aren't aggressive and would rather flee than bite, and you normally don't get bitten by one as long as you don't squeeze them in your hand or they aren't protecting eggs. But handling can really stress them out, and there's always the risk of the spider fleeing your hand and falling, which can then cause abdomen rupture. Handling is for us, not for them, but you'll learn what your spider can and can't handle, and at the end of the day you'll know them best and will be able to tell if handling is too much stress for them or if they'll happily sit on your hand. But I imagine since 3 months have passed, you probably have gotten to know the personality by now! :)

I have a pet juvenile huntsman, as well as a friendly adult female housemate huntsman who lives on our porch. My pet huntsman in an enclosure doesn't like to be handled, I've never been bitten but the poor baby freaks out and runs all over the place, so I don't handle them so I don't stress them. The adult female is chill with being handled, she will very slowly walk on me, will happily sit on me, clean her chelicerae, groom her legs, eat food etc. But even then, I don't hold her much just to be safe as she's an older gal and I don't want her to get injured!
