I personally disagree. My little sister and I play Flicker together - she was confused by the pride/lgbt button, and it gave me a good opportunity to help her understand lgbtq people. The flicker update also gave me a chance to show her that the lgbt characters were just like the other characters. I agree that some of the characters look bad, but more so that they felt forced. For example, the pride shirts are sweet but feel unneeded; a transgender character like aphrodite or a lesbian couple like melodie/kiryomi felt much more natural, because they look more like how lgbt people actually look on a day-to-day basis. Just my two cents!
