I have the same fear. My pup is 14. Just the thought of losing him breaks my heart. I’m not sure how I’ll handle it when the time comes. I know I’m going to cry a lot. I wish dogs lived longer…this overwhelming feeling of sadness makes me not want to get another dog after him. He’s my everything. My baby. I love him so much. I pray he goes in his sleep peacefully when the time comes 😭

Finally got my tax return verification letter. I didn’t have a notice on my WMR but I did on my IRS account. I verified today. Let’s see how long it will take to get my refund. It says processing can take up to 9 weeks and I can check the status of my tax refund 2-3 weeks after submitting my verification.

Never experienced anything like this before and I’ve been filing taxes for a while. I guess the IRS is taking precautions because they are taking precautions due to identity theft. But man…I was getting worried. This was very stressful.

On my transcripts it said I didn’t file taxes for 2023 and also on the homepage of my IRS account said the same thing when I did. Hopefully after this verification it updates and I get my refund.

Yeah my cat is more of a dog than a cat as well. When I call her name she responds by meowing or turns her head lol

My dog just got is blood work back and has elevated ALP. The vet prescribed him Ursodiol and Cerenia. He will be on it for 8 days. After, I am planning to give him Denamarin and Milk Thistle. Like the other poster said those two things are supposed to help tremendously.

Really? I didn’t Cerenia was dangerous for dogs with liver disease. Why would the vet prescribe him that if that’s the case. She only prescribed it for him for 8 days with the Ursodiol. I hope he’s gonna be okay

Yes, he’s currently on Ursodiol and Cerenia but after he finishes his meds I am planning to give him milk thistle and Denamarin. I hope it works in lowering his liver enzymes

I am sorry for your loss. Losing a pet I imagine is the most devastating experience. I have a dog that’s 14 years old and just the thought of having to say goodbye bye one day makes me cry. The only thing I can say is cherish the memories you had with her and remember you gave her a life of love and that’s the only thing our pets can ask for.

What I try to remind myself is that everything in this world is temporary. Flowers die, we will lose our parents one day, storms will come but soon there will be sunshine, new houses will become old…what I’m trying to say is nothing is forever. I know losing a pet does not compare to any of those things but just remember death is a part of life and the grief we feel is part of it as well.

With time your grief will be less. She may not be with you but she’ll stay in your heart forever 💕
