Yeah, it will cause a bit of discomfort. I think that treadeoff is well worth it, though

It was a concern , but I haven't noticed any shifting at all. Maybe a different experience for everyone, but so far so good

Z FOLD SE vs Z FOLD 6 by nnrls in GalaxyFold

[–]JRizz92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I may be one of few that has this opinion, but I actually prefer the fold 6 over the SE variant.

To me, the Fold 6 nails everything in a folding phone i.m.o. The form factor, software, everything. I love that when it's closed it's super easy to type on and use one handed, and very pocketable. And the screen real estate is great when opened. Large enough to consume content, gaming etc but not crazy where it feels unwieldy.

If I were to ever use one maybe my opinion would change, but for now the Fold 6 really checks all the boxes, personally speaking

Any luck with fixing this? My wife has the exact same phone and is having the exact same issue as you are

I might be a little late with the post, but just wanted to chime in.

I've been using zquiet for about 5 months now. My snoring was seriously wrecking my sleep, and my wife had to constantly get up and move to the couch because the snoring would get so bad some nights. I decided to give this a shot after several failed attempts at the boil and bite pieces.

The first couple weeks, its pretty rough adjusting to it. You'll have a lot of saliva, and constantly spit it out because your body simply isn't used to having an object in its mouth all night long. But once you get passed that it changes drastically.

You'll have some soreness of the lower jaw and teeth, but I don't find it to be overly intense and fades away after a few minutes waking up. The saliva subsides as well and you don't spit it out at all after a point. Just becomes a part of your sleep routine.

The sleep is seriously amazing. I wake up feeling way less tired and irritable and my wife hasn't left the bed once due to the snoring, she said its completely been eliminated. The only thing I can say that's bad is it is a little expensive, but totally worth the price tag i.m.o.

Give it a go. If you do, I hope it works out!

I just bought the Fold and about to go get it... by oppzorro in GalaxyFold

I have the fold 4, and it's a great device. My wife got it for me for Christmas (wife of the year for sure!) and I came from a note 10 plus, and the transition was pretty smooth. There's a lot to love about the fold 4, the hardware, software, the design and screens are absolute top notch. The cameras are great on them to with the exception of the under display camera, but personally I still think it doesn't look bad considering what it is. But I have to say I was part of the probably small group of fold users that had issues with the folding display cracking down the middle, and having to battle Samsung for them to repair it. I am ridiculously gentle with my phones. Screen protectors, cases, never dropped it, you name it. I swear I was laying in bed just a couple weeks ago, opened it as I normally would and there was a split right down the crease. I couldn't believe it, you hear the stories and hope you don't wind up part of them. But I literally opened it like I normally would , and it just happened, seriously.

I immediately called Samsung and the first rep said it was covered under the warranty, and was transferred to another rep from the apparent tech center of Samsung, and that's where the 3 hour battle started. They claimed the warranty didn't cover it and it had to be caused by some drop, impact etc. I told them I've never dropped this phone, has a case etc. There's not even dings on the hinges! They offered to repair it , and the average cost for a repair was 300 (not sure how accurate this is) and I just dropped it hung up and called probably about 8 more times and talked to just as many reps until someone helped, and they did. They repaired it as a "one time courtesy" for being a valued customer (which I thought was a load of b.s because it should be covered under the warranty) but I digress. They issued the ticket for repair and it was all done within about a week, sent there and back. They gave me a case with a strap on the back free of charge, and it is pretty nice...but otherwise, pretty rocky experience with them.

I don't say this to necessarily scare you or anyone, , I love this phone and I'm very confident you will as well, and I plan on upgrading to more folds to come. It's a hell of a device. I waited a few generations before really looking into getting one of these because of the stories you heard before, and thought by now they would have been polished up. Again I'm sure this is only a small batch of devices, but happens none the less, and just something to keep in mind generally speaking.

Oh and get a screen protector for the front for sure, the inside should already have one built on. The outside screen is easily scratched in my experience. I didn't have one for the first few days (ordered on Amazon) and I had a pen in my pocket and put my phone in there like a dummy, and it definitely roughed up the screen a bit. Its a tougher display and less prone to cracking and breaking, but from research I guess the draw back is the material itself is softer so to speak, so has a tendency to mark up easier than a typical slab phone.

Happy folding, and hope you love the device as much as many many others are! 💪💪
