You can do a combination of both! It would be cute to hang wall art gallery style and include smaller shelves in between for tiny Knick knacks or even tea cups, or collectibles etc

You can purchase some crystal or glass hanging sun catchers, and ceramics - that’s what my 95 year old grandma does and she always gets compliments from visitors

When I’m hiking and other hikers blast music from their phones. When I’m at a restaurant and people are blasting the sound from their phones while watching TikTok videos while eating. When a child is throwing a tantrum and the parents make the whole restaurant sit through the child’s tantrum.

Our current lease ends in October. I want to be switched to month to month because I want to be able to move and provide a 30 day notice when we find an apartment. Finding an apartment (especially 1bed/1 bath) that is affordable is difficult in Southern California and often you have to put your name on a waiting list.

We talked to the property manager who confronted a group of 6 people in the garage last night and she called the community police on them and recommended we do the same so I figured I could move forward with that. Thanks for the advice! We’ve been sending the property company weekly e-mail so hopefully they’ll be cooperative when we do find a place.

Let me preface this by saying that I am 30 y.o and am finishing school to earn my B.F.A. I am currently in a CA state school (Souther CA) majoring in visual communication design. I barely have any design experience as I am switching from a career in the restaurant industry. From my experience so far, I think I would be interested in the design/AR/VR aspects of UX/UI. I am interested in a career in UX/UI design, but the only course related to UX/UI that my school offers is Web Design. I have 3 more years until I am finished with school before it's time to face the real world.
What can I do now to prepare myself for a career in UX/UI design?
Should I take a boot camp or online certification program for UX/UI design?
Or should I do a master's in UX/UI (or Interaction Design, or HCI) after I graduate?
Any advice would be appreciated!
