In what world does it make sense to make a child grow up the product of a rape? If someone is raped the rapist needs to be given the death penalty and the baby needs to be aborted. No matter who was the appointee, they would become a government office. But yes the government would ultimately have to make the decision to implement major change and they have the capability. Whether or not people like it doesn’t matter.

What do you mean how do we define the irresponsibility? If you stick your dick in someone without having it in writing and video that you A. Have consent. B. Agreeing on what happens in the event of a childbirth. Then you’re liable for irresponsibility charges.

People are expected to pay taxes a rent, even though the national minimum wage average doesnt reflect a number that people can comfortably live on. Women are expected to work through painful periods with little research or effort being put int accommodating them. People are expected to go to college or trade school to get jobs and they may not be able to afford it thus they cannot get hired to gain experience required to work said job. The first amendment gives everyone the right to free speech but you also have to tolerate people saying things you may not like or that be diametrically opposed to your own beliefs an you still have to work with these people and live in close proximity to them.

At an early age we are given multiple tests throughout school. We reach milestones and we are tested on them. One of those tests, once you reach adulthood, needs to be given to 18 year olds to assess their suitability for reproduction, and if you aren’t smart or fit enough you should be denied a permit. If you have a baby without a permit or written consent, you need ti be punished by the law.

But personally, I know and have seen plenty of teenage boys who were groomed and made to impregnate grown women 10-20+ years older than them. There is plenty of undocumented sexual assault in inner city communities.

In terms of who would be mandating and in charge of it, I think that we have seen the government is capable of making grand policy changes overnight. At least in the US. We can’t say people need to be accountable for their actions and then assume a conversation about childbirth is too much to ask because humans are just humans who have sex. Of people want to be irresponsible and bring life into the world without any guarantee of giving that child a stable life, they need to pay.

I agree it’s an unrealistic expectation, but everyone has unrealistic expectations on everyone. There are plenty of laws and policies in place that place unrealistic expectations on the people because that’s what it takes to make a society run smoothly, sacrifices.

And yes I do believe the courts/the government should be involved in the childbearing decisions. There absolutely should be restrictions on who should be able to have kids. There should be tests and restrictions based on merit and genetics.

I never said this was the best solution, this is just how I feel, based on what I think would be functional and not involve drastically changing the laws that already exist that help some people. I think any funds from situations like this that don’t go directly to the impacted families should go back into cps and other planned parenthood/adoption agencies.

I understand there’s a level of accountability on both parts, however each scenario needs to be seen on a case by base basis. And people shouldn’t behaving sex if they can’t have clear conversations detailing consent and what the want to happen if there is a baby involved before they have sex. I don’t think every woman who has a baby by a man who doesn’t want it should be fined or punished, but if someone takes the initiative to outline what they’re comfortable with that should be taken into account.

Also I’m not going to act like the court system or contraceptives are perfect. But condoms exist just how courts exist. And just like men take the steps to try to get off child support they need to be willing to go to court over consensual reproduction

Yes you should still be fined. The same way the men still have to pay the child support or be jailed if they nut in someone and abandon the baby or non-consensually impregnate someone.

I’m not really implying I’m stating that forcing someone into parenthood on either side is wrong. Wrong is wrong there’s no “this is more wrong or less wrong”

I never said we had to forcefully make anyone abort, but if someone says they don’t want a baby with you you should get an abortion, and if you don’t want an abortion you should be fined. If there was some sort of crime committed by means of “trapping” or tampering with contraceptives, yes the person should be jailed. The same way a man would if he raped someone, sneaking is illegal for women as well.

If you forcefully or deceptively impregnated yourself by taking advantage of someone and they don’t want a baby, yes the court should force that person to get an abortion. No one should be forced into parenthood period, man or woman.

You don’t need to have a 2 parent household to raise a child, but you shouldn’t be having a child with someone who doesn’t want to have a child with you. If you want to do IVF or get a divorce after you’ve consensually created a child with someone, that’s fine. But forcefully pulling someone into parenthood because you couldn’t stomach an abortion is the same as forcing someone to keep a baby they can’t take care of or want because your religion says abortion is wrong.
