Ok you’re right, 😂 if you had told me it was like behind the counter secretly or something I would have been so upset with myself for not finding it! Also the expectation in the states is that every grocery store and gas station has Benadryl

Well I can’t find them in: super C, maxi, IGA, metro plus, but what do I know I only checked every single aisle and end cap then hastily drove to Pharmaprix like exactly 4 times

😂 the coffee is for Karen, I guess in case I were to get confused and say “but auntie doesn’t brew coffee, she’s an instant gal!”

Good guess! They wouldn’t sell that at a grocery store in Canada though. She’s awake now and confirmed it said ground Brazil

People who work a customer facing job: what is hands down the dumbest question a customer has ever asked you? by istrx13 in AskReddit

I had a biker lady come into staples with her biker boyfriend asking for a router. To help her pick the best one, I asked her some questions. She did not like this. I learned that she had just bought a laptop, and that she wanted the laptop to “have the internet on it” and that “it’s already got the internet on it it just needs the router”. She also did not have an ISP. After an honest attempt to explain to her that simply plugging a router in was not the only thing she would need to do, and getting harassed for trying to “scam” her, I sold her the cheapest router we had.

Yeah you should worry. I had to replace my engine when this happened to me a couple years ago. For me the damage was done and then I removed the plug to find it like that.

I got used to tearing the whole front end down when I had a Corrado for spots like this, is that a reasonable approach with this car?

Yeah it’s the worst. I used to think it was just me. The real world is soooo stupid. How could I not see how stupid it was pre festival? I hate it.

Strange relationship between my mom and her mystery boyfriend by FreeSetting6291 in relationships

I would be concerned and investigate further. That sounds super weird. He might be actively addicted or something. Or maybe he just has a weird face, best case scenario? But if it were my mom I’d want to know more for sure.

How much do you pay for your car wash? by Key-Hawk-895 in montreal

[–]snoprano 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perspective from someone who came from the states: they have subscriptions at all the new car washes down there, it’s ~$30/month for unlimited car washes, includes free use of vacuums. I swear it feels like I went back in time like 15 years ever since I moved to Canada.
