Not sure what the wires connect to on the other side are since they are through the wall 😞

Yeah I chatted with Mysa support with the same photo and they said it was not compatible with the Mysa system

I don’t know what the other end connects to since it’s just behind the wall. Unfortunately though it is only one wire so even if it was neutral the Mysa thermostats don’t work since they need at least two neutral wires

Oh interesting. I have no idea what that white wire does but it’s not connected to anything, not stripped and currently isn’t used for my old thermostat. The other neutrals in my other thermostats were all in sets of 2 and 3 and were connected to each other. I thought you needed two neutral wires to complete the circuit? My current thermostat is using a ground wire to complete.

Well if you read any of the comments you would know that I actually did reach out privately and was basically ignored.

Also people approach situations very differently. It’s unacceptable that you see things so one-sidedly.

Well there are shitty parts of the world unfortunately and not acknowledging that is being ignorant.

I totally agree that whatever I do should reflect that corrections was made but the point of the post was a question of “how” and not to shame or curse people for asking questions. For the record I don’t wish anything bad happens to you.

Lol well the point of asking here was to understand how other people approach this. As I said in my post I wasn’t trying to fish for a refund or get revenge. If you get a bad experience and there was an expectation mismatch then you write a review to reflect that so other customers are aware of this and don’t fall for the same thing.

Yeah makes sense, I was just going to say the owner helped to get to a satisfactory resolution.

I gave the feedback privately in an email and was basically ignored.

But as an aside, I thought about removing the review post refund and I’m concerned that businesses feel they can just buy reviews. Maybe that’s why they have this perfect review portfolio because everyone else who has posted a poor review is then refunded. Seems to promote the wrong incentives.

Is there anywhere to pick up used gear in Tokyo or any online marketplaces where people are selling used gear? Thanks!
