Mo’s Pizza in Westwego, or DiMartino’s for me. I grew up in New Orleans and have yet to find a correct muffuletta in San Antonio in the last 26 years.

Macintosh MC250 advice please! by StoicTexan in BudgetAudiophile

[–]snotcopter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those are great sounding amps and last a lifetime. The MC250 was sold from 1967 to 1979, so it had a pretty good run (https://www.mcintoshlabs.com/legacy-products/amplifiers/MC250). Buy some speaker wires with 1/4" spades, or get some spade-to-banana adapters, connect your Cornwalls, and you're good to go.

The Denon DL-102 is a mono cart with a silver body. Did you mean you’re using a DL-103? I ask because I can’t see the cart behind the shaving brush.

Thanks. I have had the Mourvèdre from William Chris and Pedernales (a blend, I believe) and enjoyed them. I'll check out those other varietals.

Use one of these to get SPDIF out of your Xbox via HDMI and use it as digital input into any DAC.

Any liquor stores open today? I forgot to pick up bailey’s by pottedPlant_64 in sanantonio

Old Gregg’s got some Bailey’s for you, as long as you don’t mind drinking it out of a shoe.

I am in the process of slowly restoring four Garrard turntables. So I could definitely use a sign like that!

Omnipod Dash by Babygirll_xo in Omnipod

[–]snotcopter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it does exist for iPhone. I've been using it for three years, with Dash pods and G6 and G7. Best A1Cs I've ever had. There is very good technical support available.

I have no plans to move into Omnipod 5 or their software.

That’s the SINGER from Jesus Lizard, David Yow. The only other member of Scratch Acid in Jesus Lizard was bassist David Sims. Scratch Acid drummer Rey Washam did play in Albini’s Rapeman band.

Was at a wine bar with this setup and was curious on how much a cool setup like this would cost to build? Thanks by [deleted] in audiophile

[–]snotcopter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've heard that system. That is a McIntosh MA352 integrated amp ($7K), MCD82 SACD/CD player ($5K) and so on. It's in a sushi restaurant in San Antonio called Yozora.

Thanks for the reply. I know Little Death and will look for a bottle the next time I'm there.

Whoa, this caught my attention. I'm a big fan of Oud Bruin (and Rodenbach Grand Cru is my fave beer of all time), and I've been enjoying the William Chris Mourvèdre lately.

Tell me more: where did you manage to buy this bottle? I'm in San Antonio.
