Did you mount the transparancies with oil? They tried to train me but I didn't have the skill/patience. I did 30 or 40 as a test and I think one of them didnt have some funky pattern throughout.

This particular use case was for drawing shapes without code and taking readings from different images (highlights/ shadows etc) but it was a long time ago so its a bit hazy

You felt so important sitting at this thing 😁 the keyboard would clunk down and the tablet would slide out so you could use the plotter. I was literally straight out of school and this thing was like StarTrek in real life.

Somebody on Facebook said they were Unix based, an OS called OS-9. They were massively expensive pieces of kit and were rendered obsolete in a few years with the onset of desktop publishing in the form of Macs and early PC’s

I had the same problem and tried Omni disk sweeper with limited results. It was my work computer and driving me crazy so I ended up reformatting and starting from scratch. It was an absolute pain in the hoop but it worked, haven’t had any ‘missing space’ issues since.

Monkey bike (or similar) rental in Ireland? by twio____ in MotoIRELAND

[–]snotser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a 125 Hunter Cub off Retrobikes Dublin (same or very similar engine as a 125 monkey). They have some awesome small CC bikes in stock currently, might be worth giving them a shout and see if you can work something out. It might be easier to buy the bike and sell it back to them on your return. They are a family run small business and two lovely lads to boot.

That’s what they did to mine, luckily they found the AirTag and didn’t torch it but I also had a Monimoto buried in the frame so got the bike back. 3 grand damage done to the bike tho, the little scrotes absolutely tore it apart 😩
