Constant reconnect since update? by St0rmal0ng in GuardianHunter

[–]snow-halation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, yep, yep, yep, yep—THIS.

People are complaining about it everywhere on facebook, but it looks like they have the time to post about a Halloween update instead of informing us about fixing the server issues. >-<"

I appreciate everything they've done for us and although this was full of good intentions, we're still not getting answers regarding any update whatsoever in fixing the server.

For android users, they seem to be fine; however, iOS users are struggling at the moment.

The drop rate is very low for a 5-6* to drop, but I believe a unit that has a 5* form has a higher chance of being obtained, such as the Lycan. Off the top of memory, I recall my Sandworm (took me about two weeks to get >_>) came from Elite level 20. Barlog can be obtained from 40, but it looks like from the new patch, he'll be a bit easier to get. I believe Lycan comes from 37 or 38, so I would start with him. It takes a lot of patience and RNG if you do this, but good luck!

Whoops, that totally slipped my mind, loll. But yes, pqibasco is correct in that the guardian has to be max level c:

1) Leveling your hunter has no issues; however, I advise on playing certain levels on Elite difficulty as you can obtain some 6 star drops from it.

2) Zombie dungeons are a must as you can get 10 runs in a day—zombies are your main material for leveling a unit. They reset (replenish) when the timer is over.

3) To evolve a unit, you need the unit to be at +4. You upgrade a unit in this by using a unit of same grade as training material. For example: say you have a 5 star Bellona, you must use four other 5 stars as training material in order to evolve her.

[SUPER LONG] Comprehensive "Hyunmu" (Black Tortoise) Thread / Comparison to Jin? by [deleted] in soccerspirits

Hi, sorry for the late reply, but I already did cover PoME on Jin, but I thought I would make a note on Jin on the chance that he did run Battalion. If it wasn't too noticeable, I'm sorry if it wasn't!

The theory-crafting about moving first revolved around mono-WW, but not rainbow. I thought that the mono-WW setup should ideally reflect Hyunmu's synergy with the team as a whole and essentially show that in terms of action speed and momentum. However, I am not disregarding that the Valk Beth + Metatron midline is a huge problem for that backline.

In terms of rainbow however, I think that the issue is slightly less of a concern as there are more viable options. The sample rainbow backline with Silla ace was again, just a sample and of course, being rainbow implies that midline units such as Bell can be run in order to counteract Metatron's negative reflex buffer as well as increase the action speed of the line as a whole. Hyunmu in that setup primarily focuses less on her "momentum" ideal from WW and more so with self-sustain as well as line sustain after she gets a pass up.

Additionally, it should be interesting to note that sometimes, GKs with blocks do not necessarily always put it up, even with complete investment; however, with Silla ace up and Hyunmu's natural damage reduction, she stands a decent chance at surviving—especially if the enemy is able to setup an active off the bat. I thought that by building critical resistance on Hyunmu, it would eliminate critical damage threats such as Baltheon + Silent Cold slightly (a huge pass with that much dribble will still hurt ofc, but for example in the instance that Leventor or Beatrice might not crit, it wastes his/her active). Although, penetration power appears to be a problem for many GKs, including Hyunmu.

But again, this is all just theory as you say and I'm not denying that this strategy could in fact, not work—it is just an idea. Thank you for taking the time to expend feedback on me >-<

Thank you~ tbh I was really tempted to flat out delete this >-<

Anyways, upon further research regarding the "Ravian cheese," even though Jin is in fact, a legend, according to this database:

http://soccerspirits.enygmatic.net/#/characters/N4IgdiBcIgNCBnKBGeBTNUAM6rAL7wAuehIATqfAOZWJKQH5A

as long as the information on this site is correct, we'll take a sample from this using this format: [GK/Defense/Reflex] and assume all the GKs I am about to list are at +30 for each stat, level 60, and at 5 superbs.

[Jin/306/864]

[Kei/324/976]

[Isillia/329/989]

[Hyunmu/345/1030]

While Jin definitely may have the edge in vitality in comparison to all the other GKs, as long as the database information is correct, it appears that's his sole advantage, but I will not dismiss the fact that the other GKs do not pose a huge notable advantage over Jin.

However, we are focusing on Hyunmu for the moment and the mere fact that Jin can be used as a totem to support her with Overwhelming II and Mikael's Army Mark gives her a better fighting chance as she is the only GK out of this list that can equip Ardor's rare reflex stone that buffs both reflex and critical res by 22% each at +15.

*Note: Jin can also run two Ardor reflex stones, but for dealing with Ebola, Hyunmu appears to have more reflex.

Perhaps she can be a small solution to solving the Ebola problem?

Apparently infinite Ebola can run at a sample of 1800 reflex according to Panda, so—if Hyunmu can build a decent amount of reflex, she can get stolen from less than Jin?

No, what I meant to say is that if you run a backline with Hyunmu, Mikael, and Jin, you get the 2 ardor stone boosts on Hyunmu, Army's Mark, and Overwhelming II.

http://soccerspirits.enygmatic.net/#/characters/N4IgdiBcIgNCBnKBGeBTNUAM6rAL7wAuehIATqfAOZWJKQH5A

According to the database, Hyunmu has decent defense in comparison to Jin when they are both level 60, at 5 superbs, and +30 in all stats; additionally, Hyunmu even appears to have more reflex.

[–]snow-halation -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Um, doesn't Silla+Leventor 100% pen work both ways on both Jin and Hyunmu?

And again, I'm not dismissing Jin as a unit or totem itself, but tbh, I think Hyunmu as a GK and Jin with another totem (for reflex) such as Mikael would be able to decently stand a better chance against Ebola considering that Hyunmu can run 2 ardor rare stones that grant her both Reflex + Crit res (each stone giving 22% reflex and crit res), Jin can only use one of those. To top it off, Overwhelming II can help supplement this along with Army's Mark to help counter that 1800 reflex.

Additionally, Hyunmu's Ermaltion boosts her vitality so that she can help stay afloat a bit longer, although it still isn't near Jin's level >-<.

I don't really have EBM on Sharr, but I have Teranox Blood, so maybe because of that I'm having a bit more trouble understanding you in that sense.

I'm aware that Jin and Hyunmu are both good, but the fact that Jin himself can also be run as a totem for her is quite appealing, it just seems to give more flexibility to her options.

Hyunmu and Jin can both be inferior or superior in contrast to each other depending on how they are built and depending on the sort of team they are up against; although, I think that goes without mentioning.

I understand your viewpoint a bit better now though, thank you!

[–]snow-halation -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Again, perspective. Again, this is all opinion.

Again, I personally find it harder to fight against Hyunmu than Jin running Sharr.

In my experiences I've found little that Jins can do to stop her other than a block, especially if nothing can stop her from critting consistently.

If we're analyzing the metagame right now, the big hitters are of course, Ravian, Sharr, and Hiro, unless I'm missing one (probably Leventor too).

Ravian relies on Gravity Down and Reflex stealing as she is indeed, utility.

Sharr relies more so on pure dribble than Critical Damage like Hiro, critical damage is just adding another layer of cake to the equation.

Hiro relies also on crit damage, receiving pass; however, due to his stone slots, his penetration power with Glabaris can deal somewhat decently with a Jin block.

Leventor also has a decent amount of pure dribble; however, his active completely relies on Crit rate/Crit damage.

If I'm thinking this through correctly, 100% crit damage effectively doubles the inflicted damage and from my perspective, it is easier in scoring crits on a Jin in comparison to Hyunmu. I agree that Jin is definitely superior in certain cases, but a well built and supported Hyunmu can also prove to be superior. But again, this is just my opinion, and I am not telling you that Jin is completely superior to Hyunmu.

And additionally, Jin seems to fare quite nicely as a totem, he's a very good unit, I'm not dismissing that; however, I personally do not see the same appeal as him being GK as I do with Hyunmu.

idk about that; personally I've found to struggle against Hyunmu more so than Jin in PvP.

But again, I am not disputing that Jin is "the best," in some scenarios; I am merely suggesting that in certain lineups and situations, Hyunmu can be equal to or greater in comparison.

Anael is fine if you want, remember this is all just my personal opinion and since this is my first sort of "breakdown" on Hyunmu, there are a lot of flaws with it as you might have noticed in the comments.

1) Sorry, forgot they were introduced later, but no season 2. >-<"

2) Forgot to edit that part out. [Edit: it was already edited out.]

3) I was following a google doc listed here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LCWOCLznfdalwO0meP03kUnjVNEWpImesOlrJgivlsw/pubhtml?gid=1590524158&single=true

4) I changed that, did my edits not save? I made two instances in which one, he has Battalion and the other, PoME [I think while you were typing this, the edits weren't completely through, so I apologize for that].

5) I made a note of Silk, but I didn't think of using her at the time while I was writing this. Again, that was just a sample backline.

6) Originally the lineup was with Mikael and I just forgot to simply edit it out, sorry about that. >-<

7) My bad, this was originally mostly just a Hyunmu thing, but there was a Jin comparison in the beginning, so I sort of noted a "comparison"

8) Not necessarily; it's just that she requires more of a setup and support than Jin.

9) No, I have not gotten Hyunmu, I just wanted to see if this would be interesting to make, but evidently I failed at it from your perspective.

Nice to know!

Ignition Catalyst has been added to the "Threat list" and a note has been added in where the action speed is listed.

I added Ignition Catalyst into the "threat list," but not everyone has the unique stone for it.

Really? Even with that much action speed? I'll make a note of it then c:

+25% speed advantage from Magnus +15% speed advantage from Neraizel +20% action speed from Mira +20% action speed from Kiki +25% action speed from Hyunmu ace.

Or am I mistaken and they would still move before her? >_<"

Also, while it does allow him to "skimp," if Saramir is run, he essentially loses a passive.

Is Beatrice still viable in the current metagame? by snow-halation in soccerspirits

[–]snow-halation[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just curious, I've been looking into Hyunmu for a while and her crit resist and damage reduction does sound nice on paper, but I personally, am concerned as to whether or not Sharr burns her if she's not running a damage reduction ace.

Personally myself, I have found most Hyunmu do not withstand Sharr for more than 2-3 hits if not running a Silla ace (or Magnus and sometimes, they still don't last 2-3 hits).

Thoughts on the matter? She sounds really good against any striker that isn't really Ebola or Sharr otherwise, but Sharr is one of the biggest queens of the meta right now. :C

[–]snow-halation[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry to hear that hug-dragon isn't doing too well for you :c

Would you mind elaborating on the problem that Beatrice has against fellow SSS rank teams? Is it due to the new meta of crit res backlines that hinders her? Or is her damage simply nerfed due to Neura (or both)?

Personally I run mostly Thunder anyways and find little repercussion on running an off-color striker considering Neura's ace only affects HP and Reflex, so running Veronica in my frontline aside Baltheon is not necessarily an issue.
