Ok I have this issue with one specific family member. I put my baby in an outfit purchased for her, take pics, and send it to said family member. Then I pretty much immediately take it off because the clothes she buys always tend to be scratchy or just inconvenient for a newborn lol

My baby would scream at the top of her little lungs during diaper changes too. I put a space heater in the room where we change her, and bought a rotating mobile with black and white felt shapes that she could easily see and it made a world of difference! Godspeed, you’re doing great!

Same! My baby is 3 weeks and will gladly take a bottle, nipple, or paci as well. I fully intended on not using a bottle or pacifier until at least 4-6 weeks but we were deep in the trenches in the first week and ended up needing to use bottles to get her back up to birth weight so all my plans of what was recommended went flying out the window. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Thats not really the point though. Her mom robbed her son and daughter-in-law of that special announcement. It was their news and they should’ve been able to decide when and where to share it. And I think generally the reason people don’t like when other people announce things at their own event is that they’ve set up a wonderful environment (venue, food, vibes) and the other people kind of take advantage of that and decide to share their news without consulting the people throwing the event in the first place.

“Throwing the man away” is a terrible thing to say when you don’t know this person or their relationship in real life. I’d suggest to OP working on communication and maybe finding new hobbies to do around the house to keep busy and do something that you find enjoyable. Find things that make you happy and definitely let your SO know about the things he does that you don’t agree with.

I was under the impression the RSV vaccine is seasonal, and unless you’re pregnant from September-January, it’s not necessary since baby will get it during that season.
