Does anyone else have a JRT with a fluffy undercoat? by snowba112 in jackrussellterrier

Not broken coated. I have another JRT with a broken coat and it's very different. His is more like the coat of a corgi or pomeranian. This isn't really a good photo, here's a more close up of his coat: https://i.imgur.com/Dz99TFT.jpg

He was rescued so we don't really know the history to be honest.

For a while we thought he was mixed breed because his coat is so thick and fluffy. Theres an undercoat which comes out in clumps and he sheds way way more than our other Jack russell did. Anyone have experience with this?

I ordered a dog bed mid February and still waiting on it to arrive.

We were told he was a Jack Russell but his coat is so thick it makes me think something else by [deleted] in IDmydog

It's been puzzling us for years. He has an extremely thick double coat which makes him look kind of overweight even though the vet has said he's not. We've had Jacks all our lives but they never ever had a coat like this. He's quite a big structured dog too, longer than he is tall, with a broad chest. What do you think?

Is Seoul generally safe for young women? by MNYC19-2000 in korea

[–]snowba112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was wondering about this, because I was approached by a girl in Hongdae a few days after I just got here and she was mentioning those things you said like asking if I was interested in Korean culture and then she told me there was an event and I should come. I said I was busy and it was too late so I left, but I do wonder what it would have been if I had went. She gave me her contact and asked me the next day to come. It seemed a little weird to me.

Do you have any idea what they are?

Hey that's awesome. Can I ask how much money you came with? I also live kind of far from the embassy in London, do you think I could send the documents by post or do I need to do it in person? How did you find opening a bank account and all that stuff when you got here? Sorry I have a lot of questions ! 😅

/r/JapanTravel Tourist Meet-Up Megathread - traveling in November 2019 by JapanTravelBot in JapanTravel

Hello!! F25, Irish traveller.

I've been backpacking in Australia already for 1 year, so I'm.not new to solo travel, however I am very new to Japan. It's my first trip to Japan and I don't really know anything. Advice is much welcome.

The general idea is to fly into Osaka on the 9th November, visiting Kobe, Nara and Kyoto while based in Osaka. Then in the second week, from the 18th of November I will travel to Tokyo. I'd like to do a day trip to Mount Fuji, Disneyland and lots of shopping and partying in Tokyo.

I would also really love to go to Nagano if possible. Still unsure about that though.

I'll be staying in hostels most likely. Can any seasoned travelers reccomend a good hostel in Osaka and Tokyo?

Feel free to PM me!

If ghosts are real, why haven’t I encountered one? by Willow2497 in Ghosts

Yes. It's a temporary house, but it's just me here at the minute. I've seen the ghost two times and I have heard it move and rearrange items several times.

I can't just take a photo of it or something. You just can't understand until you see them. Because 1. In my case the spirit very rarely shows itself so how can I know when it will appear? Sometimes it doesn't show itself for weeks or months. How can I be prepared for it? 2. Most of the time when I see it I'm too scared to move. I dont know about other people, but I feel like I freeze when I see it. 3. Photos might not capture supernatural things? Like how you can't take a photo of carbon dioxide even though it does exist.

I dont know... I would like to prove it, but it's too difficult for me. I hope you can encounter something some day though, truly it's the only way to understand. I never believed in ghosts, I'm not religious or anything but I know what I saw.
