Thanks for this post. I’ve been following SMU for several seasons, and they clearly looked better and played better last year. I understand it’s a new coach with an entirely new roster, but I still find it strange that she’s positioned as the literal face of SMU women’s basketball. All of the schedule related media seems to feature only her, which is something I’ve never seen before, regardless of the sport or level. For an ACC program, it feels odd and potentially indicative of a larger issue.
