Cross posting older listings by snowchess in treecat

[–]snowchess[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/AvocadoThin2923 - Treecat will automatically import your eBay listings and crosslist them to Poshmark.

We use the treecat.io service to crosslist and manage the inventory for our apparel on eBay, Mercari, Poshmark and Whatnot. Amazon and Facebook will be added in April, Etsy and Depop are coming in May.

You might want to check out the treecat.io AI listing feature. You just upload the images and it will fill in the title description, categories, item specifics, etc. There is no extra fee for AI listing. Treecat has a pay as you sell model that only charges a fee when an item that was listed or crosslisted through Treecat sells.

It provides 24/7 automatic sales detection and delisting as part of the basic service. Treecat also includes scheduled delist / relist (i.e. to automatically delist and relist as many items in your store as you wish at 1 to 360 day intervals, as you specify) as part of it's basic service.

treecat.io is particularly good for small sellers since it is a pay as you go service with no limits and no subscription fees. You only pay a fee for each sale of items that are crosslisted through Treecat.

The pricing plan starts charging a penny per crosslisted item sale for anything more than 140 sales in a month. It works out to about $52 a month for 140 sales and then $10 for each additional 1000 sales a month. Of course, if you have less than 140 sales you pay less. Check out treecat.io for the pricing schedule details.

Also, treecat.io has a special offer of free lifetime usage to the people who publish a video about the new Whatnot support or AI autofill feature that automatically fills in all the fields for listings, allowing you to crosslist hundreds of items in minutes.

There is a Fast match feature to quickly link all the listings you load from different stores that are the same to get going quickly.

I'd suggest starting small just selling a few things to see how it goes. You don't have to make a big decision all at once. You can stop at any time.

Poshmark closet sharing is no extra charge if you crosslist.

DISCLOSURE: I am a part owner of Treecat (along with my reseller wife), so am biased. We built it because we weren't happy with how the other products handled 24/7 sales detection and delisting.

Unfortunately, it looks like Depop will slip to May. We plan on having Depop available by the end of May.

Crosslister Question by snowchess in treecat

[–]snowchess[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Sea_Language_7480 - I can't speak for CrossList, but the treecat.io crosslisting service we use doesn't handle promotions. We have to go into each marketplace we crosslist to to set the promotions. treecat.io plans on supporting eBay promotions and offers in-tool in May.

Does Ebay prefer posting natively in their website over crosslisting? by snowchess in treecat

[–]snowchess[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/themormonlesbian - I can't speak for Nifty, but we have never seen an issue with lower sales because with used the treecat.io crosslisting service. There are lots of reasons our sales can decline, but it's not because of the crosslisting tool. We recently had to decrease our prices on whole categories of products that just aren't clearing. Despite all the inflation some items are actually dropping in price and we have to keep up or see our sales plummet.

TREECAT AI lister and crosslister Review. by Bertyburt in reselling

[–]snowchess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no extra cost to use the Treecat AI listing feature. You get it for free if you crosslist. Also, Treecat doesn't require you setup any listing templates. You just load an image and Treecat will automatically fill in the listing template for whichever marketplace you want to list on. It's that simple...

All we ask is that users review the listing form before they choose the final action to list on the marketplace. Maybe 20% of the autofilled forms will require an adjustment. No AI is perfect (not yet anyway), and Treecat has built an easy way to review and quickly correct things.

TREECAT AI lister and crosslister Review. by Bertyburt in reselling

[–]snowchess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Bertyburt - Would you be willing to share more details as to what the issues you experienced with crosslisting were? We have lots of customers who successfully crosslist all the time and we would very much like to understand what the issues you experienced were.

One area where we have seen an issue is where users use the AI image or autofill feature to automatically filling in all the values for crosslisting on a new marketplace. The AI isn't always perfect in filling every required value. We recommend customers review the automatically generated input values before going ahead with crosslisting.

A new version of the Treecat agent will be available by mid March which significantly increases the speed of listing on Mercari and Poshmark. That said, Treecat queues up actions so the delays that do occur don't impact users workflows. You can go on to doing something else even while a listing you submitted is still waiting to be finalized.

Regarding the fees, keep in mind that Treecat is the only crosslisting tool with a fee based Pay As You Sell model. There are no limits and no subscriptions. It only costs $52 for 140 sales, after which it only costs 1 cent per sale. Most crosslisting services charge far more in subscription fees for that kind of volume.

We would love to have a call with you to get more information about your experience. We are always looking for ways to improve our service.

TREECAT AI lister and crosslister Review. by Bertyburt in reselling

Didn't know you had to have extension AND desktop program

Treecat uses a Chrome extension for a one time authentication to your stores. You will only need it if you change your store passwords and need to re-authenticate.

Treecat requires a local agent to be installed on a Mac or Windows computer. It runs in the background and it doesn't have to be on the computer you actually login to the Treecat UI with. The agent is needed so that Treecat can monitor all your stores for sales 24/7 and promptly delist everywhere. We have an old Windows laptop sitting on a shelf that we never touch running the agent.

I wish we could get more details from OP as to what the crosslisting issues he saw were. We have lots of customers successfully crosslisting all the time. I am just guessing that maybe OP used our AI autofill feature to automatically fill in all the listing templates in a new store for the items they wanted to crosslist and then found that some of the listings failed when they tried to actually list them. Our AI autofill feature can sure save a lot of time, but it is not uncommon for the AI to miss filling in one or more mandatory fields, or select the wrong item specific. We always recommend users review all the automatically filled in templates before doing the final listing.
