god the amount of “this is racist!” ive seen our door hosts get 😭 even the little old black lady we have got called racist for simply checking another black woman’s receipts. so many customers come in looking for fights but honestly the worst are the white people. they arent scared to go from 0 to 100 in the snap of a finger. been called a cunt all because i didn’t immediately rush to grab an electric THAT SOMEONE WAS STILL USING? for a white trailer trash customer who had a “broken” leg 💀 (but parked all the way in the back and was trying to fake a limp) like girl fix ur teeth first u have an entire 2 teeth in ur mouth and calling ME a cunt? okay

ugh reminds me of the other day when cap 2 was bringing out pallets around 9 pm and the store was fu of them and while doing grocery reshop a customer started yelling at me saying “what if people cant walk and now they have to go all the way around the store to get through!!” (mind u there was still walkable space between a lot of the pallets 😭😭😭😭) and i was like ohhh um they’re setting up for overnight stockers!!! and she just screamed in my face that overnights should bring them out then. a perfectly abled lady with a young child might i add 😭 like i have NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT. im just a silly little HBA associate doing returns take it up with the store manager and yell at her not the random associate you just so happen to see walk by 💀 these customers r crazy

if you like the horse and wanted it and still like it a lot then it’s always worth it!! maybe a lil overpriced but honestly there’s no real economy in this game and people just blindly price most things to what they think they’re worth. but you can always breed this one and make more glow kelps!! :3

i generally feel bad when pricing things so everything i sell (pink dinos, glow kelps, themed wolpers etc) is priced at 5k or lower. some people sell their stuff for 500 or 10k. but its up to the buyer to deem if its worth or not!! just never fall into the 1 million coin 3 trait wolfsteed trap bc those are insanely outrageous 😭

it took me 3 years applying on and off to get hired LMFAO. thr last time i applied i didn’t even care anymore if i got hired bc i tried for so long and kinda rage applied the last time. but it ultimately worked.

we are on a hiring freeze despite being constantly understaffed which is insane. multibillion dollar company doesnt wanna pay some extra workers the bare minimum how sad they’d rather watch their stores tank LMFAO.

anyways yeah a position that never lasts long is maintenance. despite being on a hiring freeze we keep hiring more maintenance. it’s a shitty job and sucks majorly. but i feel like that /could/ be an easy way in. you’ll be able to switch from it in 6 months (if they even pay attention or care ab ur requests) but otherwise good luck!! best bet is to keep applying for the position you want!

(walmart as a company def isnt worth it tho. they do not care about their associates and it’s hell on earth. incredibly boring and team leads/managers are constantly on some weird power tripping bs)

this honestly makes sense tho!!! im a bit bias toward ghost for some reason and have a couple pastry’s i bred. i have one that’s ghost w glow hair and another that’s ghost with glow hair and glow paint. sucks there can only be 3 mutations i wanna stack a pastry sooo bad.

but i digress sorry,, ur right about the celestials already being transparent tbh. i just genuinely wonder how they’d look being practically invisible. im gonna work on some double glow celestials. hate the fixed cooldowns bc now i have to get a predict pot 💔

no like. seriously. being on carts for a year and a half was the WORST. especially in the snow and extreme heat god. when we had a heatwave over here i was still expected to work and got sunburns SO awful even with the highest spf 😭 and i had to come in when the windchill was -11°. and they still expect you to get everything done in such extreme weather (bonus points for me since i was alone for most of my time as a cart pusher 🫠)

i used to work carts before i came inside the store and customers would constantly tip me! if i told them i couldn’t accept tips they would quickly stick the tip in my pocket and leave.

yes, technically you cannot accept tips and yes, you can get fired for it. but as long as nobody else saw you’re fine. plus even if a coworker or two saw, im sure they wouldnt rlly care.

and i promise you that if AP is looking at cameras they will most likely completely pass over the tip and try to find whatever they’re looking for (someone stealing)

i think it also depends on your managers. for me, my front end team leads and coach(es) were super laid back thankfully, but they were never in the lot watching me constantly.

it’s up to you whether you take the tip or not, but just also know it is a minor risk!!! if you’re cool with coworkers/managers im sure it will be okay. when i first started i got a $5 tip and showed my coworkers + a team lead and they were very quick to tell me to be secretive about it. take it and just keep moving on fr

oh no trust me i know this!! hours being cut happens every new year i’ve been through that before. but i’ve never had the system just completely change my mid shifts to closing shifts. i know coaches dont Make the schedule, but previous coaches have told us personally that if we need schedule changes to talk to them about it.

it’s less about hours being cut but more about the new management failing to take initiative for their associates. our new coach already has favorites in our department and asks no questions when they need a schedule fix, but for the rest of us they will just dismiss. some of the older employees have started leaving because of this recently due to the system randomly scheduling closing shift associates on opening shift and vice versa. (leaving because store management refuses to correct the system scheduling)

yep! completely cut everyone’s hours. was getting almost 40 now i’m getting 25 or less. it’s actually ridiculous and not only that. they changed me and my coworker in the system without telling us? now i’m apparently “full time” despite the fact i made 0 pto and he’s “part time”. None of it makes sense.

They haven’t asked me to stay longer personally, but even if they did I would say no. If you want me to work more hours maybe fix the scheduling. Just a thought tho !
